New York Congressman Wants To Repeal The 22nd Amendment Which Restricts President to Two Terms
Democratic Congressman Jose Serrano thinks it may be time to repeal this amendment that was ratified by the requisite number of states way back on February 26, 1951. I suppose it was just a matter of time until some totally obscure no name back bench Democratic Congress-person (José Serrano has sponsored 100 bills since Jan 5, 1993. of which 93 haven’t made it out of committee and 1 were successfully enacted) was going to try and get their 15 seconds of fame by proposing something like this particular type of legislation.
Obama Chooses Leon Panetta As CIA Director. Did I Hear That Right?
n yet another bizarre twist to the PEBO saga Obama has tagged the 70 year old Leon Panetta to be the new CIA director, apparently unaware of all the criticism leveled at the 72 year old John McCain who many felt would keel over and croak the day after he became president, if “selected.” As much as I hate to see it 😀 it seems many Democrats aren’t too pleased with the choice either.
Harry Reid Needs To Step Down As Senate Leader…NOW!
That very headline should be blaring from every media outlet in this country, ad nauseam, until that worthless piece of Congressional garbage, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, is hauled out to the nearest Capitol dumpster and tossed inside. So what’s the beef you say? Well it seems Reid was rather adamant that Blagojevich not send any black people from Chicago to Washington D.C. to fill Barack Obama’s former senate seat, stone cold from years of neglect as it was.

Politicians Shredding The Constitution On A Daily Basis. No End To This Practice In Sight.
Everyone in government takes an oath to uphold the Constitution, but few do so. Beginning with John Adams, and proceeding to Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, and George W. Bush, congress has enacted and the President has signed laws that have criminalized political speech, suspended Habeas Corpus, compelled support for war, forbade the freedom of contract, allowed the government to spy on Americans without a search warrant, and use tax payer dollars to shore up failing private banks.
