My first thought when I saw this clip was this short conversation between Barack Obama and Henrietta Hughes was more than likely a staged event which is fine, politicians and daytime TV talk show hosts have been pulling these kind of stunts for years. Most people are bright enough to see right through this nonsense but there will always be a certain percentage that will get suckered in by the the well choreographed emotional angle. Montel Williams couldn’t have done a better job than Obama on this one….

The only thing I have an issue with in this article, published in it’s entirety by permission of the author, are the several references to our form of government as a ‘democracy.’ A Representative Republic is the accurate representation of what our founding fathers fought and died for so that we may enjoy, as long as it may last, what we have today.
