There’s a “Big ‘Ol T.E.A. Party” Coming to Washington

Tens of thousands of anti-big government activists are expected in Washington on Saturday as part of a “March on Washington” being organized by FreedomWorks, a conservative group headed by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, R-Texas. In a telephone interview with ABC News, Armey said that one goal of the event is to retake the initiative in the health-care debate from President Obama who attempted to seize control this week with a speech to Congress. [Tens of thousands of patriotic Americans from all walks of life and both sides of the aisle will be descending on Washington DC today with pitchforks in one hand and lit torches in the other…ed]

Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of DC TEA Party Planners

On the eve of what organizers call a ‘Big Ol’ TEA Party’, the Washington, D.C., offices of FreedomWorks were evacuated by DC Metro police on Friday afternoon after the conservative organization reported to authorities at 3:42 pm ET that it had received a bomb threat. At 4:48 pm ET, the organization put out a Twitter message saying that it turned out to be a false alarm but the organization is not happy about the disruption. [Imagine that. Left wing domestic terrorists threatening those who have planned a peaceful march on Washington DC with a bomb attack. Sounds like the kind of stuff Barack Hussein Obama’s good buddy Bill Ayers used to do…ed]

Want to know who is Hannah Giles?

Hannah Giles, the young woman who dressed up and posed as a whore in the BigGovernment.com ACORN child prostitution sting videos, is an aspiring investigative reporter and National Journalism Center intern. You can read her Townhall.com bio here. Not familiar with NJC? Go here. Actually, I shouldn’t say “aspiring,” as she’s already accomplished something nobody from 60 Minutes, The New York Times, or any other mainstream media thought to do, and that is find a way to expose the dirty truth behind the closed doors of ACORN. She was able to do that because she asked the right question, unemcumbered by the liberal conventional wisdom that blinds so many Mainstream Media journalists. [What a fabulous job this young lady and her partner James O’Keefe did in exposing this crooked group ACORN over the last few days. There is no doubt more to come from this dynamic duo…ed]

State’s Attorney Considers Prosecuting ACORN Video Posters

The activist group ACORN has fired two employees of its Baltimore office who were seen on hidden-camera video giving advice to a man posing as a pimp and a woman posing as a prostitute. (SNIP) The Baltimore city state’s attorney is considering prosecuting those responsible for taping the ACORN employees on charges that they violated Maryland’s wiretap laws. [Oh yeah, let’s not go after the real criminal bastards here, let’s threaten prosecution of those who had the stones to unequivocally expose the real law breakers in this scenario. This threat has the Obama administration written all over it…ed]

Obama uses fear to sell health care

President Obama has begun a new phase of his effort to overhaul the nation’s health care system by trying to gird Americans for the perils that await them if his effort fails. In recent speeches, including his weekly radio address Saturday, the president has begun using stark language to warn Americans that failure to act on his proposed health care reform could lead more families into bankruptcy and could leave them stranded when they get sick. [We have the greatest healthcare system in the world yet you never here this fraud mention ANYTHING positive about it. We need to defeat this clown’s marxist agenda at every turn starting with this government take over of our healthcare industry…ed]

Obama’s Health Care Plan: Put Up And Shut Up…The president’s speech was the policy equivalent of the middle finger.

For several months now, the American people–as if exhorted by the ghost of William F. Buckley (no particular hero of mine)–have been standing athwart the Democratic agenda of socialized medicine, yelling, “Stop!” But President Barack Obama showed them the policy equivalent of the middle finger Wednesday night. (SNIP) Obama lambasted the critics who claim his reform plan amounts to a government takeover of the health care system. But the plan he laid out Wednesday night will control every aspect of the medical transaction. It will tell patients when, what and how much coverage they must buy; it will tell sellers when, what and how much coverage they must sell. This is not a government takeover of health care? Then Tony Soprano is just a decent, hard-working businessman. [This lady nails it. Good read indeed…ed]

I am sorry

Here is what Joe Wilson should say on the floor next week:
Madam Speaker,

I am sorry that I offended you, Madam Speaker, in any way, shape or form.

I am sorry I called the president a liar on the House floor last week.

I am sorry that the president called Sarah Palin a liar on the floor last week. [Personally I think the middle finger and a hearty “Kiss my ass bitch” directed at that skank Pelosi would be much more appropriate than any kind of apology…ed]

Reid On The Rocks

The senator who called the president a liar and never apologized may have worn out his welcome in his home state. Harry Reid may be riding the liberal agenda into political oblivion. (SNIP) Reid’s reputation as a curmudgeon doesn’t help. On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” on Dec. 5, 2004, the late host Tim Russert asked: “When the president talked about Yucca Mountain and moving the nation’s nuclear waste there, you were very, very, very strong in your words. You said, ‘President Bush is a liar. He betrayed Nevada, and he betrayed the country.’ Is that rhetoric appropriate?'” As to Yucca Mountain, the proposed spent nuclear fuel storage facility in Nevada, Reid answered: “It’s something that is being forced upon this country by the utilities, and it’s wrong. And we have to stop it. And people may not like what I said, but I said it, and I don’t back off one bit.” Rep. Joe Wilson, call your office. [Yeah it’s OK when some schlep on the left calls a Republican president a liar. Keep sending your contributions to Joe Wilson folks…ed]

S.C.’s Wilson Rakes In $750,000 in Less Than 48 Hours; Opponent Tops $1 Million

With a political arms race in full force, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) has raised almost $750,000 in less than 48 hours since his shout of “You lie!” to President Obama during the Wednesday address to Congress, almost matching the Internet-fueled haul of his likely Democratic opponent. A senior GOP official said Wilson, who apologized to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel after the health-care speech but has since refused a more public apology, has turned his own previous sleepy campaign machine into an Web-friendly effort. [Three quarters of a million bucks in 48 hours and that’s NO LIE…ed]

Why I am no longer an African American

The Obama election was a milestone in our country’s history. Blacks danced in the streets, talked about feelings of finally being able to feel at home in America, and cried for the cameras. But as a black woman in the Age of Obama, I don’t see anything that reveals that Blacks in America have anything to celebrate. (SNIP) Because of these things, I now part ways with the classification of African American because I hold no allegiance to Africa. [Black woman says goodbye to the racist views of many of her fellow “African-Americans.” I’m curious, have you ever heard of an African-Canadian? African-Mexican? African-British? African-German? African-Frenchman? African-Spaniard? Me either…ed]

Green shop owner is fined by council…for not producing any rubbish

With its emphasis on re-using old materials or selling them as scrap, Mark Howard’s bicycle shop is a model of environmental efficiency. So you might have imagined that his local council would be grateful to him for enhancing the area’s green credentials. But instead the father of four has been hit with a £180 fine – because officers refuse to believe he doesn’t create any commercial waste. [This is what happens when you allow these whack ass liberals to get in positions of power and this kind of crap is just around the corner for this country…ed]

US penalizes Chinese tires, infuriating Beijing

President Barack Obama’s decision to impose trade penalties on Chinese tires has infuriated Beijing at a time when the U.S. badly needs Chinese help on climate change, nuclear standoffs with Iran and North Korea and the global economy. China condemned the White House’s announcement late Friday as protectionist and said it violated global trade rules. At home, the punitive tariffs on all car and light truck tires coming into the U.S. from China may placate union supporters who are important to the president’s health care push. [What kind of knucklehead would shod their vehicle with tires made in China in the first place?…ed]

Obama’s Speech Prompts Ten Questions from Republicans

House Republicans on Thursday issued ten “common-sense” questions arising from President Barack Obama’s Wednesday-night speech plugging health care reform. The questions – and the words that prompted them – appear here verbatim:

President Barack Obama: “Our collective failure to meet this challenge – year after year, decade after decade – has led us to the breaking point.”
Common Sense Question: If we are at the “breaking point,” then why doesn’t your government-run insurance plan start until 2013?

President Barack Obama: “There are now 30 million American citizens who cannot get coverage.”
Common Sense Question: On August 20, you said 46 million Americans were uninsured. What happened to 16 million Americans?

President Barack Obama: “And every day, 14,000 Americans lose their coverage.”
Common Sense Question: Does that mean 15 million Americans will lose their health care before your government plan starts in 2013? [Awaiting your answers Mr. Obama…ed]

John Stossel Joins FOX News, FOX Business Network

Award-winning journalist John Stossel is joining FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network. Stossel, best known for his work as co-anchor of ABC News’ “20/20,” will anchor “Stossel,” a weekly program on FOX Business Network, and make regular appearances on FOX News Channel, it was announced Thursday. The one-hour program will feature in-depth reports on domestic and international libertarian issues and will debut during the fourth quarter of this year in FBN’s primetime lineup. [Another ace lands at FOX. The rest of the useless media heaves a collective groan…ed]

Obama’s regulatory chief pushes new ‘bill of rights’

A government that is constitutionally required to offer each citizen a “useful” job in the farms or industries of the nation. A country whose leadership intercedes to ensure every farmer can sell his product for a good return. A nation that has the power to act against “unfair competition” and monopolies in business. This is not a description of Cuba, communist China or the old USSR. It’s the vision of the future of the U.S, as mandated by a radical new “bill of rights” drawn up and pushed by President Obama’s newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein. Until now, Sunstein’s proposal has received little scrutiny. [Another far left radical whispering into The Won’s ear every day. Time to “Van Jones” this asshat right out of the Obama administration…ed]

Adviser: High unemployment for years

The president’s chief economic adviser warned Friday that the nation’s unemployment rate could stay “unacceptably high” for years to come — a situation that would seriously complicate Barack Obama’s ability to convince Americans that he’s beating back the recession. “The level of unemployment is unacceptably high,” National Economic Council Director Larry Summers said Friday. “And will, by all forecasts, remain unacceptably high for a number of years.” [What’s so shocking about this? The Obama gameplan all along was to bring this country to her knees economically and force as many people as possible into government run programs for their subsistence. The plan seems to be working perfectly for the liberals so far…ed]

If God had been a Liberal there wouldn’t have been Ten Commandments, there would have been Ten Suggestions.
