Chicago Latinos Wonder What Obama Has Done For Them Lately.

Barack Obama spent a total of about seven years as an Illinois state senator and a whooping 143 days as a U.S. senator “representing” Illinois before he jumped into the presidential race. It seems he had a mighty thin record of accomplishments with just about everybody in the state during that time but that is understandable. After all when you spend a big chunk of your time interacting with the likes of Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, James Meeks, Michael Pfleger, Rashid Khalidi and Raila Odinga among others it probably leaves little time to actually do your job and represent your constituents.

Follow along as a gentleman attempts to track down someone within Chicago’s Latino community that has something positive to say about the senator.

Oh I know what the Obama bots are going to say….just another John McCain hit piece set up and orchestrated by his supporters. Frankly I just might have to agree as that is what campaigns do. Usually they round up a bunch of people that are already in the tank for them, film a commercial with the bots pretending to be fair minded independents just looking for someone to look out for their best interests and then demonize the opposing party as an incompetent uncaring nitwit.

Every once in awhile the script goes a little screwy and some genuinely disgruntled people have their say and this is a great example of just that.

Public money for private housing, a scheme that Tony Rezko took advantage of to stuff his pockets with cash with the help of his long time buddy Obama. The residents would like to know where the money went because it sure didn’t go into maintenance and repairs. A federal inspection of that apartment building came back with a score of 11 out of 100 and Obama refuses to discuss the situation with reporters? Unbelievable.

Perhaps Obama’s supporters could spend a week in that place and gain a little perspective on just who the man is they are all giddy about.
