The liberal media has gleefully savaged Sarah Palin and her family for over a year now but they trip all over themselves apologizing for calling Hillary a bitch?

Two Washington Post journalists are apologizing and their satirical online video series has been canceled following criticism of a joke they told about Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Post Executive Editor Marcus Brauchli killed the “Mouthpiece Theater” series Wednesday after pulling the latest episode from the paper’s Web site Friday. In the video, columnist Dana Milbank and White House correspondent and blogger Chris Cillizza appeared in smoking jackets to discuss the kinds of beer politicians might drink. Milbank said he couldn’t reveal to whom President Barack Obama would serve a drink called “Mad B—- Beer.” That line was followed by a brief picture of Clinton.

CNN ran a poll stacked with black folks hoping to get some glowing feedback about Obama’s first six months compared to George W. Bush. Looks like the effort blew up in their face.

A rather surprising finding from the newly released CNN poll. Question three on the national survey of 1,136 adults (which includes an oversample of African-Americans) asks, “Do you consider the first six months of the Obama administration to be a success or a failure?”

Off duty police officers caught ripping down the road at nearly 150 mph on their personal motorcycles. Bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do when they come for YOU?

A Gahanna police officer pleaded guilty this morning to speeding charges after he was ticketed last month for traveling almost 150 miles per hour on a motorcycle. Gahanna Officer Christopher Thomas, 33, received a speeding ticket eight days after he was caught going 149 mph on I-70 near Buckeye Lake, and then only after the Ohio Highway Patrol made a courtesy call to his department. Trooper Jason E. Highsmith, 35, who was riding his motorcycle near Thomas, received a ticket for going 147 mph four days later.

Check out this really pissed off constituent getting in the face of yet another out of touch Democrat politician.

Chanting “Dump Chris Dodd” and “No national health care,” scores of angry constituents confronted U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy at a meet-and-greet outside the Super Stop & Shop Wednesday afternoon. Murphy, a Democrat who represents the 5th District, routinely holds informal office hours at supermarkets and strip malls, but such gatherings are generally uneventful. This time, many of the 150 or so attendees were so boisterous that Stop & Shop management called the police to ask that the crowd be moved from the store’s entrance.

Oh goody. You may soon be able to get your young daughter a doll that she can pretend to breast feed.

A controversial new doll is leaving some parents wishing for the good old Cabbage Patch days. A Spanish toymaker known as Berjuan has developed a breast-feeding doll that comes with a special halter top its young “mothers” wear as they pretend to breast-feed their “babies.” The halter top has daisies that cover the little girls’ nipples and come undone just as easily as the flaps of a nursing bra would.

Now that the euphoria is over, here’s another angle about what happened when the two nitwit “reporters,” held by the NORKS for five months, were released.

Bill Clinton’s triumphant return from North Korea with two rescued US journalists had Hollywood written all over it — from the Burbank airport to the big-time producer who bankrolled the expedition to the celebrity public-relations firm that orchestrated the homecoming. A key player in Clinton’s high-flying diplomatic mission to rescue Laura Ling and Euna Lee was entertainment mogul Steve Bing, a longtime “Friend of Bill” who lent the ex-president his private Boeing 737.

AARP members just may wind up canceling their subscriptions after reading through this article.

Washington Wink-Winks were flying fast Monday when a memo surfaced from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi describing the Democrats’ plan to “partner” with AARP, SEIU and others in an August recess PR blitz for Obamacare and against Republicans who oppose it. Triple Ws are the lame excuses Washington elitists like Pelosi and AARP activists hide behind whenever they are caught red-handed. Then they deny what is obvious to everybody else while winking reassurance to their momentarily puzzled supporters that they don’t really mean the denials.

Rupert Murdoch vows to begin charging a fee to view all of his News Corp. company’s online news content. That’s a great way to chase eyeballs away from those websites.

Rupert Murdoch has vowed to charge for all the online content of his newspapers and television news channels, going well beyond his prediction in May that the company would test pay models on one of its stronger papers within the year. The comments by News Corp’s chairman came as he predicted a “high single digit” rebound in the group’s operating profits next year.

Obama intends to spread more of American taxpayer’s wealth around the world.

Nearly half of the $2.4 billion in federal grant money awarded Wednesday to stimulate the U.S. economy and boost the production of hybrid and electric vehicles went to six companies with ties to places as far away as Russia, China, South Korea and France. President Obama announced the grants during a visit to Indiana and said the funds would create domestic jobs and instigate more “green” manufacturing in the United States.

Liberals have long been known to be cheapskates with their own money and these fancy pants specialty coffee shops that attract them by the thousands have finally figured this out and are pulling the plug.

A sign at Naidre’s, a small neighborhood coffee shop in Brooklyn, N.Y., begins warmly: “Dear customers, we are absolutely thrilled that you like us so much that you want to spend the day…” But, it continues, “…people gotta eat, and to eat they gotta sit.” At Naidre’s in Park Slope and its second location in nearby Carroll Gardens, Wi-Fi is free. But since the spring of 2008, no laptops have been allowed between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekends, unless the customer is eating and typing at the same time.

Weather monitoring stations deliberately set up to provide false information so as to boost this global warming farce. Golly, wonder who is behind this?

Researchers who have inspected climate monitoring stations across the U.S. have found that almost 90 percent of the weather monitoring stations have failed to meet National Weather Service requirements.
Anthony Watts, a retired meteorologist, and a team of over 650 volunteers, photographically documented 1003 out of 1,221 of the climate monitoring stations managed by the U.S. Weather Service. The results of this survey show that the temperature cited as proof of man-made global warming is laced with false biases in favor of alarmism. “We found stations located next to exhaust fans of air conditioning units, surrounded by asphalt parking lots and roads, on blistering-hot rooftops, and near sidewalks and buildings that absorb and radiate heat,” Watts said. “We found 68 stations located at wastewater treatment plants, where the process of waste digestion causes temperatures to be higher than in surrounding areas.”

Nearly half of all homeowners will be upside down on their mortgage by 2011. Maybe time for an economic resurgence huh folks?

The percentage of U.S. homeowners who owe more than their house is worth will nearly double to 48 percent in 2011 from 26 percent at the end of March, portending another blow to the housing market, Deutsche Bank said on Wednesday. Home price declines will have their biggest impact on prime “conforming” loans that meet underwriting and size guidelines of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the bank said in a report. Prime conforming loans make up two-thirds of mortgages, and are typically less risky because of stringent requirements.

Sounds like a fair trade to me but I wonder what he would offer to take Obama off our hands and bring him back home?

A Kenyan man’s offer of 40 goats and 20 cows for Chelsea Clinton’s hand in marriage may still be on the table — and Hillary Rodham Clinton has promised to convey the “very kind offer” to her daughter. To laughter at a town hall meeting Thursday in Kenya, CNN’s Fareed Zakaria asked the U.S. Secretary of State if the Clintons had made a decision on the dowry offer.

California ordered to release 40,000 prisoners because conditions are too rough on them. Apparently these judges aren’t too concerned about how rough these convicted criminals were on their victims.

Federal judges have ordered California to release more than 40,000 inmates to improve conditions in its notoriously overcrowded prisons. The three-judge panel gave the state 45 days to come up with a plan to reduce the number of inmates in the 33 adult prisons from about 150,000 to 110,000 over two years. “California’s prisons are bursting at the seams and are impossible to manage,” the judges wrote.

Tweeters left twiddling their thumbs for an hour of so as Twitter gets knocked offline following denial of service attack.

Twitter’s site crashed on Thursday at about 3pm BST due to a “denial of service” attack – thousands of remote-controlled virus-infected PCs trying to contact the site. Though the site came back up after an hour, the company said it was “continuing to defend against and recover from this attack”.

Quote of the day.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

-Martin Luther King Jr. [Put that in your pipe and smoke it Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and all the other crybabies complaining about people speaking their minds about the government takeover of our healthcare system….ed]
