Oh yeah that greedy capitalist mixed economy system we have used to have here in the U.S. is what has brought the country to her financial knees. Their mantra continues on that we need the same worthless idiots in the government that jacked everything up in the first place to come to our so called “rescue.”

They may not always come out and specifically say it but like so many other blatant insinuations tossed out there to the ill informed public these folks always try and make it look like it’s the Republicans pulling off all the shenanigans. Never mind that it was clearly the Democrats that gave us this house of cards called the home mortgage fiasco that will cost all of us that have been doing the right thing all these years hundreds of billions of dollars and was the catalyst for the economic situation we are now screwing around with. That said when your political party manages to manufacture a crisis, especially a doozie like this current economic boondoggle, never ever let the situation go to waste.

Since Obama Has Taken Office He And The Democrat Owned Congress Have Spent One Billion Dollars AN HOUR!

From the Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell’s website:

“The Budget’s $3.6 trillion price tag comes on top of a housing plan that went into effect last week that could cost a quarter of a trillion dollars, a financial bailout that could cost another $1 to $2 trillion, and a Stimulus bill that will cost, with interest, more than a trillion dollars. Some are now talking about another stimulus. The national debt is more than $10 trillion. And we just passed yesterday a $410 billion government spending bill that represented an increase in government spending over last year of twice the rate of inflation.

“In just 50 days, Congress has voted to spend about $1.2 trillion between the Stimulus and the Omnibus. To put that in perspective, that’s about $24 billion a day, or about $1 billion an hour—most of it borrowed. There’s simply no question: government spending has spun out of control.

A billion dollars a day on just two spending bills since Obama took office? Let’s see 50 days would be 1200 hours so that billion bucks a day would be spot on and this obviously does not even include the budget or the second stimulus package that is being bandied about in the halls of Congress.

Generally speaking I think most people would consider delivering pizzas to be a fairly non-hazardous job in the whole scheme of things. There are occasions when we hear of a delivery person being robbed, beaten up and in some cases killed in the process of simply trying to do their job, delivering food to hungry Americans. Sometimes it is a crime of opportunity other times the thugs actually plan an ambush hoping to get what usually turns out to be a small amount of chump change from the victim. Hardly worth the loss of life or limb for anybody involved I’m sure most people would think.

Of course, danger lurks everywhere and some occupations are unfortunately more attractive to criminals than others are. As an example, you could not pay me enough to run a convenience store anywhere in say…Detroit.

That said, Christopher Miller, 43, a ten year veteran of the pizza delivery business was making what seemed like a routine run from a Columbia, S.C. Pizza Hut to a nearby residence last Saturday night after an order came in for a couple of large pizzas. The total bill would turn out to be just north of twenty five bucks.

Coincidence Or Yet Another Effort To Crack Down On Political Opposition?

It’s well known that there is a cadre of Obama-bots trolling the internet hoping to “catch” something they can “report” to some place that evidently has encouraged them to do so. Some camp out on certain popular sites hoping to scrub any information that may not be so favorable to their guy, Obama, nearly as quickly as it is posted.

Other bots spend their existence making the rounds posting virulently pro Obama rhetoric on news site comment sections and politically oriented forums and blogs. I have to think, or hope for their sake, some are paid by the DNC at least minimum wage to perform this service because I can’t imagine such a large group of mouthbreaters having become so unhinged over one completely un-extraordinary occupier of our White House that they do this nonsense voluntarily.

Ways And Means Chairman, And Typical Democrat, Charles Rangel Thinks His Tax Dodging Issues Are None Of Our "God Damn" Business

Democrat Charles Rangel, Chairman of the House Ways and Means committee which “presides over tax revenue legislation and commands oversight authority over the major issues of the day – economic policy, international trade, welfare, Social Security, Medicare, and health care,” has been embroiled in controversy over his personal tax issues and has been under (a phony) investigation for some time now as I wrote about awhile back when Speaker Nancy Pelosi proclaimed the Democratic controlled House would be the most ethical bunch of crooks ever assembled under one roof.

Speaking of the House Ways and Means Committee, the folks that write the tax laws we all must follow in this country. How would the American people feel about the chairman of this powerful committee cheating on his taxes? Yes, I said cheat, not made a mistake, not forgot about some simple issue on a nondescript form years ago, but a flat out failure to report income and pay taxes on rental units he has owned FOR 20 YEARS! Representative Charles Rangel (D-NY/Rikers Island) allegedly forgot about the vacation beach property he owns and visits on a regular basis in the Dominican Republic. The price tag for the 78 year old gravelly voiced congressman looks to be upwards of $10,000 in back taxes however the internal ethics panel is still trying to unravel exactly what the details were of the oddball mortgage scheme Rangel had on this property. Since the ethics folks were already knee deep in Rangel’s filing cabinet they decided to take a look at how he came to rent four rent-controlled units in his Harlem district, as well as his use of official congressional stationery to try to attract potential donors to a college center named after him. The head of the committee that writes the tax laws for this country still has his job after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi addressed this troubling situation with this insightful comment, “I see no reason why Mr. Rangel should step down.” Atta girl Nancy, way to keep those promises of an ethical group of Congressional Democrats.
