Well this really had to bite for CNN’s Don Lemon, a guy well known for his rabid and unabashed on air support for Barack Obama, as he went to visit a bunch of Cambridge Massachusetts police officers and ask them how they felt about the charges of racism leveled against Sgt. James Crowley by Obama’s good buddy Harvard professor Henry Gates.
Unless you have been under the ocean for the last two weeks vacationing with Spongebob you have probably heard about the little dust up between Crowley and Gates and how Obama stepped in it big time when he opened his trap to comment on how stupid the Cambridge police force must have been to arrest the “distinguished” professor of black studies who went gutter gangster race baiter on Crowley when he stopped by his house to check on a 911 call about a possible break in attempt.
It had to be especially disheartening to Lemon when two black police officers wholeheartedly supported and backed “this white officer…this sergeant” Crowley. In fact a black female officer went so far as to say that not only was she disappointed in the way Obama interjected himself into a situation he knew nothing about but that her support for him is now gone and she will not be voting for him in the future.
Just in case you are wondering what’s up all with those funky blacked out helicopters flying at treetop level over your house, camouflaged Humvees driving around your neighborhood and military troops stopping your wife in her minivan while she is on her way home from soccer practice, relax folks, it’s just the annual FEMA National Level Exercise (NLE 09) going down over the next five days.
Never mind that we’ll have foreign troops from Australia, England, Canada and Mexico on American soil training on how to take over and shut down our towns and cities…they’re just practicing for when all hell breaks loose in their own countries…*wink wink*… as we all know they would never be deployed against the American people in the event we have some kind of Constitutional crisis that causes all hell to break loose here in the U.S.
Make no mistake FEMA primary purpose is not to hand out water bottles, food and tents to people who’s home has wound up ten feet under water like most people think.
Some people have referred to it as the “secret government” of the United States. It is not an elected body, it does not involve itself in public disclosures, and it even has a quasi-secret budget in the billions of dollars. This government organization has more power than the President of the United States or the Congress, it has the power to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant and hold them without trial, it can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the Constitution.
Not only is it the most powerful entity in the United States, but it was not even created under Constitutional law by the Congress. It was a product of a Presidential Executive Order. No, it is not the U.S. military nor the Central Intelligence Agency, they are subject to Congress. The organization is called FEMA, which stands for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Originally conceived in the Richard Nixon Administration, it was refined by President Jimmy Carter and given teeth in the Ronald Reagan and George Bush Administrations.
FEMA had one original concept when it was created, to assure the survivability of the United States government in the event of a nuclear attack on this nation. THE MOST POWERFUL ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES
Though it may be the most powerful organization in the United States, few people know it even exists. But it has crept into our private lives. Even mortgage papers contain FEMA’s name in small print if the property in question is near a flood plain. FEMA was deeply involved in the Los Angeles riots and the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of the black helicopter traffic reported throughout the United States, but mainly in the West, California, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado, are flown by FEMA personnel. FEMA has been given responsibility for many new disasters including urban forest fires, home heating emergencies, refugee situations, urban riots, and emergency planning for nuclear and toxic incidents. In the West, it works in conjunction with the Sixth Army.
In fact we can watch as a FEMA instructor actually tells police officers and firemen that our Founding Fathers were the original terrorists in this country,
Remember back during those George W. Bush years, you know when we had a 4.7% unemployment rate, home values were rising every year and people were buying lots of stuff which contributed to a booming economy, how the Democrats howled over damn near every nominee the former president tossed over to Congress for confirmation? They were always “too conservative, too far outside of mainstream America” according to the Pelosi/Reid led moonbats.
Remember how they fought tooth and nail over just about every Cabinet member Bush nominated? Even the many Blacks, Hispanics and women?
Yet every time we turn around Obama is adding another far left wing whack job to his tight circle of nearly three dozen “czars” unopposed by the hapless, gutless Republicans in Congress.
OK for me but not for thee so sayeth the messiah unto his rapidly dwindling flock.
Apparently Mr. Obama wasn’t all that keen about legislation getting rammed through Congress during the George W. Bush years with little to no deliberation or debate amongst our elected representatives.
He claimed in a November 2004 interview with left wing moonbat radio talk show host Randi Rhodes that budgets and legislation such as the Patriot Act were rushed through without members of Congress having any idea what was in the bills. He actually complained that Congressional members didn’t have time to read, deliberate or debate any of the legislation because they were supposedly “intimidated by the Bush administration.”
What’s odd about his comments is he wasn’t even in Congress at the time. He was sworn in as a U.S. Senator January 4, 2005 and prior to that he had been an Illinois state legislator from 1997-2004. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will publish a notice on Monday announcing the extension of a special status for certain Somali nationals living in the US until March 17, 2011. The Temporary Protected Status (TPS) granted to some Somali nationals living in the US was due to expire in September 17, 2009. The notice signed by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Janet Napolitano justified the extension by saying that “Somalia remains in a state of chaos characterized by the lack of central government; a crippled economy, the absence of civil structures, destruction of infrastructure; and generalized insecurity in the form of banditry, kidnapping, looting, revenge killings, targeted assassinations, suicide car-bombings, and inter-clan fighting,”.
New home sales jumped in June by the largest amount in more than eight years as buyers took advantage of bargain prices, low interest rates and a federal tax credit for first-time homeowners. While home prices are still falling, the figures released Monday were another sign the housing market is finally bouncing back. Data out last week showed home resales rose 3.6 percent in June, the third straight monthly increase.

A Brooklyn nurse claims she was forced to choose between her religious convictions and her job when Mount Sinai Hospital ordered her to assist in a late-term abortion against her will. The hospital even exaggerated the patient’s condition and claimed the woman could die if the nurse, a devout Catholic, did not follow orders, the nurse alleges in a lawsuit.
Governor Deval Patrick, fresh off signing a major tax increase and still battling through a historic budget crisis, has seen a huge drop in his standing among Massachusetts voters and faces a tough road to a second term, according to a new Boston Globe poll. The survey, taken 16 months before the election, shows that the public has lost faith in Patrick’s ability to handle the state’s fiscal problems or bring reform to Beacon Hill, as he had promised.
Troubling news for the poll obsessed Obama administration and his handlers.
For the first time since he moved into our White House, Obama’s numbers in the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll have hit negative double figures. Only 29% of the nation’s voters strongly approve of his job performance while 40% strongly disagree giving him a stunning “approval index rating” of -11,a 41 point plunge in only six months. His approval index rating has been going steadily downhill since the beginning of July.
Obviously Republicans agree with very little, if anything, Obama represents but there is no way they alone are responsible for that 40% figure. In fact an increasing number of the segment of voters who put him into office in the first place, those so called “Independents,” are abandoning his good ship lollipop in droves.
The 29% that strongly approve of the disastrous mess Obama has made since becoming president must be the same group of people who could watch him strangle a little puppy to death in front of a kindergarten class on live TV and still think he is one hell of a terrific guy. Continue reading »
