Britain's Health Protection Agency Quietly Warns Doctors About Dangers Of Swine Flu Vaccination

Millions of men, women and children living in the U.K. are preparing to receive the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccination injection without the benefit of understanding the risks of contracting Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a sometimes fatal disease that attacks the lining of the nerves resulting in paralysis and eventually the inability to breathe which has been linked to this particular vaccine because their government has apparently decided they have no need to know.

A warning that the new swine flu jab is linked to a deadly nerve disease has been sent by the Government to senior neurologists in a confidential letter.

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.

It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the vaccine.

GBS attacks the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.

The letter, sent to about 600 neurologists on July 29, is the first sign that there is concern at the highest levels that the vaccine itself could cause serious complications.

It refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:

* More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu. [I believe some 30 people died from the vaccine itself while a grand total of ONE person died from the swine flu that year….ed]
* 500 cases of GBS were detected.
* The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times.
* The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear.
* The US Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected.

If You Plan On Getting Old Be Afraid–Be Very Afraid

say-no-to-government-healthcare - Copy

A few days ago Sarah Palin said she was relieved that the so called “death panel” or end-of-life language had been removed from consideration in the healthcare legislation being draw up by lawyers and lobbyists..oops I mean Congress. That euphoria will most likely be short lived.

Now some, almost exclusively the leftists running the government and the majority of the media, have said all this death panel talk is a bunch of nonsense, that the legislation says no such thing. Well it depends on who is doing the deciphering of the gobbledygook I suppose. The language used in the slightly varied versions of the 1,000 plus page healthcare bills that have made it out of committee is so convoluted, so general in nature, so malleable that the wording can be interpreted a million different ways (this was deliberate by the way) which the hairballs making up the rules and regulations will certainly take advantage of.

Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) had this to say about the issue:

The bill passed by the House committees is so poorly cobbled together that it will have all kinds of unintended consequences, including making taxpayers fund health care subsidies for illegal immigrants.

On the end-of-life issue, there’s a big difference between a simple educational campaign, as some advocates want, and the way the House committee-passed bill pays physicians to advise patients about end of life care and rates physician quality of care based on the creation of and adherence to orders for end-of-life care, while at the same time creating a government-run program that is likely to lead to the rationing of care for everyone.

On the Finance Committee, we are working very hard to avoid unintended consequences by methodically working through the complexities of all of these issues and policy options. That methodical approach continues. We dropped end-of-life provisions from consideration entirely because of the way they could be misinterpreted and implemented incorrectly. Maybe others can defend a bill like the Pelosi bill that leaves major issues open to interpretation, but I can’t.

Sounds swell huh? Except it’s a pantload of crap.

Hillary Clinton, "Obama Considers Himself A Son Of Africa"

…as do millions of folks here in America, most of Europe and virtually everyone in Africa. He ain’t fooling anyone anymore. I wonder if he needs a passport to visit home? I wonder which country’s passports he traveled on in his younger days? So many questions…so few answers.

Reuters–He wasn’t there but Hillary Clinton leaned heavily on President Barack Obama’s heritage on her seven-nation Africa trip that ends on Friday in Cape Verde.

“The president considers himself a son of Africa,” she said in Liberia’s legislature on Thursday, a phrase she repeated at nearly every stop in an 11-day trip aimed at improving relations with key players on the continent.

In Kenya, where Obama’s father was born, Clinton used his local standing to drive home the anti-corruption, good governance message that the Obama administration has made a pillar of its approach to Africa.

“It is tough, but it is also lovingly presented. President Obama very much wants Kenya to be the leaders of a reform movement,” said Clinton in a town hall meeting with students from the University of Nairobi.

Dissent Is The Highest Form Of Patriotism And More Left Wing Hypocrisy

Speaking up, speaking out, shouting, protesting, screaming, vigorously debating, hammering Congressional representatives, yelling and being a “disruptor” is all good when you are a Democrat and a Republican is in the White House and in the majority in Congress.

But what happens when the Democrats grab unstoppable power in the legislative and executive (and arguably the judicial) branches of our government?

Millions of citizens expressing outrage over the direction our country is going is now un-American according to a truly UN-American, the reprehensible Nancy Pelosi.

Here’s another shining example of the left wing hypocrisy coming back from the past which is so very relevant to the present but of course you will never see this anywhere in the bluestream media…

Friday August 14th

We’re not “birthers,” we’re just really healthy skeptics ya know?

Please call me skeptical. It’s a label I proudly wear. Since my first day of second grade, when I traded my homemade chocolate-chip cookies for a smooth-talking fourth-grader’s out-of-ink ballpoint pen, I’ve been a wary consumer. So, if a presidential candidate tries to hand me a barebones certificate of live birth in lieu of a valid, long-form birth certificate, my skeptical antennae go on alert.

FOX News comes out on top of msnbc, cnn, hln and cnbc ….COMBINED, again!

You might see another “Fox News explodes” moment from Bill O’Reilly tonight. For the second time this week and fourth time this year, FNC beat the combined totals of the four other news channels in primetime in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.

This is why you don’t see Obama and the Democrats even mentioning the number one problem with our healthcare system…tort reform.

In February, just two months before he became a Democrat, Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania made a passionate plea for a special tax break for plaintiffs’ trial lawyers. His bill, S 437, would allow trial lawyers to deduct immediately on their taxes up-front expenses they incur when investing in contingency lawsuits. The tax break is reportedly worth $1.6 billion to trial lawyers. If Specter’s amendment passes, this single provision would more than repay the legal industry for its roughly $762 million in political contributions to Democrats over the last two decades. Which would, in turn, mean more money could be recycled and funneled back to Democrats.

American citizens hammering the White House email system over this healthcare issue crashing the servers. Tell me again Mr. Family Guy aka press secretary Robert Gibbs how it’s just a few right wing malcontents pushing back against this Obamination.

Amid a boisterous debate on health care reform, people flooded members of Congress on Thursday with so many e-mails that they overloaded the House’s primary Web site. Technical support issued a warning to congressional staff that the site – – may be slow or unresponsive because of the large volume of e-mail being sent to members.http://www.house.gov. Jeff Ventura, a spokesman for the House’s chief administrative officer, which maintains the Web site, said traffic data was not available and could not be released without the lawmakers’ consent.

Find out who in the Obama administration is behind the campaign to get advertisers on the Glenn Beck show to pull their ads.

As HUMAN EVENTS reported earlier a racially charged activist group called “Color of Change” founded by Van Jones, a special advisor to the Obama Administration, is trying to silence popular radio and Fox News personality Glenn Beck by calling for a boycott of Beck’s TV advertisers after he called President Obama a racist on the Fox and Friends morning news show. Claiming that Beck is race baiting “Color of Change” has bullied at least five of Beck’s big advertisers — SC Johnson, Progressive Insurance, GEICO, Procter & Gamble and Lexis Nexis — to pull their ads from Beck’s national cable program.

Florida school principal and athletic director facing serious jail time for offering a mealtime prayer to group of students. When all hell finally breaks loose in this country be sure to make all those anti Second Amendment aclu creeps you happen to know right there at the tops of your ..ahem…list of people to have a “chat” with.

Students, teachers and local pastors are protesting over a court case involving a northern Florida school principal and an athletic director who are facing criminal charges and up to six months in jail over their offer of a mealtime prayer. There have been yard signs, T-shirts and a mass student protest during graduation ceremonies this spring on behalf of Pace High School Principal Frank Lay and school athletic director Robert Freeman, who will go on trial Sept. 17 at a federal district court in Pensacola for breaching the conditions of a lawsuit settlement reached last year with the American Civil Liberties Union.

This is why nobody listens to left wing talk radio morons. Audio clip.

One Day We Will Awake To Find–We Have Socialism

reagan - Copy

What, you thought all this talk about the government taking over our healthcare system was brand new? Well that’s probably because you were in diapers or perhaps not yet born when Ronald Reagan gave this inspiring speech against this very scenario some 48 years ago.

As one listens to his words it becomes clear how apropos they would be today as Barack Obama and his comrades on the far left in Congress are attempting to once again grab control over the lives of almost every American citizen through our medical care system and other pieces of massive, intrusive, punitive and freedom robbing legislation in the name of allegedly knowing what’s best for us peons.

Those who don’t learn from history….

Thursday August 13th

Obama administration coming after talk radio just like we knew they would.

Mark Lloyd, newly appointed Chief Diversity Officer of the Federal Communications Commission, has called for making private broadcasting companies pay licensing fees equal to their total operating costs to allow public broadcasting outlets to spend the same on their operations as the private companies do. Lloyd presented the idea in his 2006 book, Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America, published by the University of Illinois Press.

Expect to see a sudden rash of polls from left wing media sources showing Sarah Palin’s (the private citizen) approval numbers dropping now that she has shoved Obama’s healthcare lies back into his face. At least she has taken the time to read the proposed legislation.

Yesterday President Obama responded to my statement that Democratic health care proposals would lead to rationed care; that the sick, the elderly, and the disabled would suffer the most under such rationing; and that under such a system these “unproductive” members of society could face the prospect of government bureaucrats determining whether they deserve health care. The President made light of these concerns. He said:

For the first time in two years Americans trust Republicans over Democrats with the healthcare issue.

For the first time in over two years of polling, voters trust Republicans slightly more than Democrats on the handling of the issue of health care. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that voters favor the GOP on the issue 44% to 41%.

We have PROOF the Democrats are having to desperately recruit people onto their side of the healthcare debate.

It seems that, despite all the media attention lavished on e-mail appeals to his supporters, not everyone pushing for President Obama’s embattled healthcare reform plan these warm August days is an idealistic volunteer in it for the sake of helping move the country forward and gaining medical attention for millions of uninsured Americans. The website’s large-type headline announces: “Work to Pass Obama’s Healthcare Plan and Get Paid to Do it! $10-15 hr!” It’s a web ad on Craigslist: “You can work for change. Join motivated staff around the country working to make change happen. You can make great friends and money along the way. Earn $400-$600 a week.” [Golly, I wonder where all this money to pay these hired hands is coming from?….ed]

Bill Clinton’s former Chief of Staff when he was governor of Arkansas charged with 51 felonies for trying to smuggle contraband into death row unit of a state prison.

Betsey Wright, chief of staff under Gov. Bill Clinton and a long-time familiar figure in state and national politics, has been charged with 51 felony counts of attempting to take contraband items into the Varner Unit of the prison system, which houses Death Row. Prosecuting Attorney Steve Dalrymple of Pine Bluff said Wright was charged wtih attempting to take in an ink pen with tweezers and a needle inside; a Swiss Army-style pocketknife of undetermiend size; a “blue box cutter with razor” of undetermined size, and 48 “tattoo needles.”

It just might be time for Governor Mark Sanford (R-Argentina) to undergo some serious mental health screening.

The strains of Latin music could soon be wafting from South Carolina’s executive mansion. Embattled Gov. Mark Sanford is considering having his Argentine lover, who he has called his “soul mate,” join him at the Governor’s Mansion now that his wife and four sons have moved out, a Web site claims. [Stay classy there gov., you just ensured Democrat ownership of the top spot in that state for years to come…ed]

Obama's Planted New Hampshire Audience On The Inside–Some REAL Americans On The Outside

n_h_live_free_or_die - Copy

Barack Obama held a little healthcare townhall meeting Tuesday in Portsmouth New Hampshire and during the entire event there was nary a dissenting voice from the rapt and fawning crowd. How weird especially after weeks of Congressional Democrats getting their ears pinned back by some seriously pissed off American citizens in just about every corner of our fine country.

So how did things manage to stay so calm inside the venue during Obama’s cozy little lovefest with the citizenry? Gee I don’t know, maybe because the place was jammed full of people who were bused in from elsewhere by Obama’s Organizing for America “astroturf group” to lend him a friendly helping hand in his quest to push through this government takeover of our healthcare system. All captured by the lamestream medias’ video cameras of course.

Naturally anyone who even thought about asking a tough question would have been drowned out by the shouting and boos of the signed sealed and delivered Obots (who made up the majority of attendees) and would certainly have been fully investigated by every government agency in existence well before the hootin’ and hollerin’ began to subside. Ask Joe the plumber how that particular program works. Funny how that threat alone will convince so many citizens that keeping their mouths shut might be the best gameplan for now these days.

Contrary to claims from the White House that this would not be a staged event it turns out the festivities sure looked, smelled, sounded and waddled like that proverbial duck indeed if you know what I mean. What, you’re shocked that the Obama administration would pull your leg about this? Nah, me neither.

So while tender affection, blown kisses and sultry winks were being exchanged inside the building between Obama and his dreamy eyed supporters what was going on outside with real American patriots that the previously mentioned left wing media chose to ignore?

How Do You Feel About The Word "American" Being Banned From Our Children's School Textbooks?

That’s right folks, the word “American” will no longer be allowed in our children’s textbooks because it is “geographically chauvinistic.” The left wing lunatics that we have allowed to take over the educational system in this country will now insist the term “People of the United States” be used instead. The insanity continues…
