It began with the tea parties. People of all ages joined in huge protests against the massive spending approved in Washington. They gathered by the thousands in cities and towns from coast to coast to speak out against the huge stimulus plan. Yet, for months not much was covered by the mainstream media and President Barack Obama told the press that he didn’t know anything about the tea parties.

“What it is ain’t exactly clear…”

AARP forced to call Obama a liar even though he was telling the absolute truth for once.

President Obama misspoke and did not intend to mislead the public when he said AARP had endorsed his health care legislation pending in Congress, the White House said Wednesday. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Obama did not mean to misinform Americans when he said Tuesday at a town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., that the senior lobby had backed his legislation.

This would be why the AARP ran like a mad rabbit away from the claims of endorsement made by Mr. Obama.

The most ominous signal yet for the Obama health-care plan emerged in the poll by Scott Rasmussen released today. While public support for the plan fell to a new low (42 percent support, 53 percent oppose — down five points in two weeks), the elderly emerged as the strongest opposition group. Those over 65 rejected the plan by 39 percent to 56 percent, while almost half — 46 percent — said they were “strongly opposed” to it. The group that supports the plan most strongly are those likely to be least affected — voters under the age of 30, 67 percent of whom support the proposals.

I think we can figure out what the Obama administration is REALLY trying to do here.

Federal authorities have launched an effort to detect lone attackers who may be contemplating politically charged assaults similar to the recent murders of a Kansas abortion doctor and a Holocaust museum security guard. The effort, known as the “Lone Wolf Initiative,” was started shortly after President Obama’s inauguration, in part because of a rising level of hate speech and surging gun sales. “Finding those who might plan and act alone, the so-called lone offenders … will only be prevented by good intelligence, the seamless exchange of information among law enforcement at every level, and vigilant citizens reporting suspicious activity,” said Michael Heimbach, the FBI’s assistant director for counterterrorism.

Hey Arlen Specter, before you say protesters at your town hall meetings are not representative of America as a whole take a look at the polling data you worthless old dolt.

Sen. Arlen Specter, facing more jeers and taunts during another town hall meeting Wednesday, sought to defuse tensions about health care reform debate with a few jokes. (SNIP) “Traditionally people who come to town meetings have objections,” Specter said after the State College event. “They may not be representative of America, but they are significant, and their views have to be taken into account.”

Speaking of polling on this government attempt to take over American’s health care.

Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low as just 42% of U.S. voters now favor the plan. That’s down five points from two weeks ago and down eight points from six weeks ago. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that opposition to the plan has increased to 53%, up nine points since late June. [That’s because millions of people have downloaded and read through this Obamination and they know this administration is full of liars from the top on down…ed]

ABC News’ Kirit Radia reports: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost her cool Monday after a Congolese student, speaking through a translator, asked her what “Mr. Clinton” thought about a Chinese trade deal with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. “You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?” Clinton replied, clearly irked by the thought of being her husband Bill’s spokeswoman.

Congressional panel warns that if unemployment remains high and the property market continues to crumble, banks will still incur further losses on bad assets. Toxic assets on the balance sheets of hundreds of American banks remain a “substantial danger” to the financial system and could yet drive institutions to collapse, a congressional watchdog warned on Tuesday in a report urging against any complacency that the banking crisis may be drawing to a close.

President Barack Obama will spend the week trying to convince Americans with health insurance that legislation in Congress would benefit them, holding three town-hall meetings, a venue where Democrats have faced loud complaints. Mr. Obama plans to hold the town-hall meetings Tuesday in Portsmouth, N.H., Friday in Bozeman, Mont., and Saturday in Grand Junction, Colo. A White House official said participants wouldn’t be screened to keep out opponents. [HA HA HA HA…yeah sure opponents to the government takeover of our healthcare system won’t be screened out. You bet….ed]

Teenager runs away from home after claiming her father is out to kill her for converting from Islam to Christianity.

An Ohio girl ran away to Orlando because she said her family threatened to kill her for converting to Christianity. Rifqa Bary, 17, said she was threatened by her family because she converted from Islam to Christianity. “What did your father say to you?” WFTV reporter Mary Nguyen asked. “He said he would kill me!” replied Bary.

Obama is no mystery to those who bothered to do some research into who he was prior to the last election. Now the rest of the country is starting to get up to speed.

Americans are finally getting a good look at the man in the White House. They’ve been thrilled by his speeches, love his kids and almost desperately want to believe he is who they voted for. It turns out, however, that he simply can’t tolerate disagreement. (SNIP) The administration has moved to discredit those who oppose his health care policies, for example, by labeling them neo-Nazis, right-wing lunatics or witting/unwitting tools of giant insurance companies. “I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking,” the president told a crowd of supporters in Virginia last week. “I want them to get out of the way.”

Out of touch Congress has brief spasm of clarity as it cancels plans to blow half a billion on fancy jets.

U.S. House leaders have dropped plans to spend $550 million in the Air Force budget on passenger jets used by lawmakers and senior government officials, officials said on Monday. The House of Representatives reversed the move to upgrade the executive jet fleet after public criticism, opposition from other lawmakers and the Defense Department had said it did not need more planes that it had requested.

Democrat leaders feel the need to set up a ‘war room’ to assist their cohorts in Congress in spreading Obama’s healthcare takeover propaganda.

House Democratic leaders have set up a healthcare “war room” to help their rank-and-file members navigate a tumultuous August in which they find themselves on the defensive on their signature issue. The effort is being run out of Majority Leader Steny Hoyer’s (D-Md.) office, but is being manned around the clock by a rotation of leadership and key committee staff members, according to leadership aides.

Simple question…”should U.S. taxpayers be required to pay for health insurance for millions of alien immigrants and people who make enough to pay for their own coverage but choose not to?” And just who are all these “uninsured” people?

“Obamacare” was launched in the wake of a long, persistent Greek Chorus of claims that 46 million Americans lacked health insurance, had to have it and only the federal government could “reform” the system to make it possible. The number of uninsured was climbing steadily, said Dr. Obama.

Corruption along the U.S.-Mexican border takes many forms. It can start as simply as a smuggler’s $50 gift to the child of a reluctant federal agent, quickly escalating to out-and-out bribes. “Everyone does it,” the agent, now in prison, recalls telling himself. Other times, county sheriffs greedily grab thousands from drug dealers. In a few instances, traffickers even place members in the applicant pool for sensitive border protection jobs.

I suspect that because George Bush and Condoleezza Rice were so respectful of Muslims, constantly telling us that theirs is a religion of peace, some otherwise sensible Americans actually began to believe it. Now we have a president who not only kowtows to a Saudi prince, but carries on as if Israeli homes are more threatening than Iranian nukes. What is wrong with our leaders? Are they worried that they won’t be invited to those cool Ramadan parties?

Dirtbag running from the police runs stop sign and rams into pickup truck. Seven dead including four young kids.

A motorist fleeing police ran a stop sign and crashed into a pickup truck in Tulare County southeast of Fresno, killing himself and two passengers, as well as four children who were ejected from the truck, authorities said today. The California Highway Patrol said no one in either vehicle appeared to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision Saturday afternoon.

Plane, helicopter crash into each other then into the Hudson River.

Authorities believe nine people are dead after a sightseeing tour helicopter and a small plane collided mid-air just after noon over the Hudson River between Manhattan and New Jersey, authorities said. At least two bodies have been recovered. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said authorities do not believe the crash was survivable. Coast Guard officials are no longer on a rescue mission and are concentrating on recovery, Bloomberg said.

One man’s freedom of speech has sparked controversy in a small Kentucky town. The owner of Eagle Hill Armoury, LLC located on Main Street, in Glencoe, Ky., said that he thinks President Barack Obama is a “nagger.” [I’m getting real tired of Obama’s nagging too…ed]

A summer concert next week featuring Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson has been cancelled because of excessive heat in the greater Phoenix area. Billy Mays’ family disputes finding of medical examiner that his death was in part caused by illicit drugs.

The family of TV pitchman Billy Mays said they were never aware that he used cocaine or other non-prescription drugs before his death and they were considering whether to have an independent review of an official autopsy. The Hillsborough County medical examiner’s office released the results of its autopsy on Friday, finding that cocaine use had contributed to the heart disease that suddenly killed the 50-year-old in June. He was discovered by his wife in bed at their Tampa condo the morning of June 28.

France struggling to rein in the out of control cost of its government run health care system. Imagine that.

When Laure Cuccarolo went into early labor on a recent Sunday night in a village in southern France, her only choice was to ask the local fire brigade to whisk her to a hospital 30 miles away. A closer one had been shuttered by cost cuts in France’s universal health system.
