The rules murdering our troops
When enemy action kills our troops, it’s unfortu nate. When our own moral fecklessness murders those in uniform, it’s unforgivable. (SNIP) Mission-focused, but morally oblivious, Gen. Stan McChrystal conformed to the Obama Way of War by imposing rules of engagement that could have been concocted by Code Pink: * Unless our troops in combat are absolutely certain that no civilians are present, they’re denied artillery or air support. * If any civilians appear where we meet the Taliban, our troops are to “break contact” — to retreat. [Nice strategy, tell the enemy who and what we won’t attack so they can then exploit these rules of engagement and kill or wound our “handcuffed” sons and daughters. We are NOT in Afghanistan to protect this country in any shape or form and as long as the stupid ROIs are in place and we don’t have enough boots on the ground to do the job right the Taliban will simply kick our asses like they did with the Russians…ed]
Who wrote President Obama’s speech for the start of the UN General As sembly yesterday — Rodney King? You know, the guy whose videotaped run-in with cops sparked the 1992 LA riots, leading King to ask: “Can’t we all just get along?” Today that question is used derisively, to mock naive “solutions” for social ills. But it essentially sums up Obama’s 38-minute UN plea, as Washington’s former UN envoy John Bolton noted. Except that Obama is supposed to be the wise leader of the Free World. What a truly pathetic performance. [This man’s ignorance and cluelessness about how the real world works is what makes him so dangerous to the genuine citizens of this country. Throwing the United States under the bus in front of the rest of the world is fine by this guy as long as all the dictators and despots stand up and applaud for him…ed]
Dems block GOP demand for more time
Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday turned back a Republican amendment to wait 72 hours and require a full cost estimate before the final committee vote on the health care reform bill. It was the committee’s first vote out of more than 500 amendments awaiting them, in what has already been a contentious mark-up session. The amendment would have delayed a vote on the final bill for about two weeks to allow the Congressional Budget Office to complete its final analysis on the cost and implications of the legislation. Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans for the amendment, further signaling that she may be an attractive swing vote for Republicans. Instead, the panel passed an alternative amendment that would require the committee to post the full bill, in “conceptual” instead of legal language, as well as as a CBO cost estimate. [There can only be one simple reason why the Democrats do not want the American people to read the legislation they come up with and that’s because their agenda is bad for this country and they know it…ed]
50,000 Muslims to Pray on Capitol Hill: Guess Who’s Not Happy?
The event sounds like yet another Tea Party protest, or perhaps an encore of last weekend’s Values Voter Summit: Devout believers joining together this Friday to pray on Capitol Hill for the soul of America. Who could argue with that? Well, when the believers happen to be Muslims, and there could be as many as 50,000 of them kneeling to pray in Arabic, yes, you could see how there might be some blowback from the usual suspects. [Yeah blowback from people who love their country and aren’t liking what they are seeing with these Muslims taking over the western world by virtue of sheer numbers. 500 of these butts in the air types will show up and every left wing media outlet will claim there were millions. Sounds like one hell of a target rich environment to me. Ahhh, just kidding of course…ed]
A Secret White House Power Grab Is In Full Swing
It’s one thing for President Obama to surround himself with the advisers he’d like to have, but it’s another to bestow on them sweeping powers to broker secret negotiations and push forward vast new regulations that could cost American families thousands of dollars. Cap-and-trade energy tax legislation appears stalled, at least for now, in the U.S. Senate. But that doesn’t mean the cap-and-trade energy tax isn’t imminent. (SNIP) Driving the push for this massive power grab and circumvention of the elected branches is a key White House official who avoided Senate confirmation by being installed not as EPA director, but instead as White House Climate Czar: Carol Browner. [Ready to rip the face off that ignorant ass neighbor who voted for this hopey changey Øbama fraud yet? If not maybe this article will be all the “stimulus” you need…ed]
GOP gets big bump of donors in August
Despite being in the minority in Congress, Republican campaign committees outraised Democrats by $1.7 million in August as they have aggressively collected political cash amid the rancorous debate over health care. Republicans also held an edge over Democrats in the amount of money available, when counting debts, as both parties set the stage for the 2010 elections, in which more than three dozen competitive House and Senate seats are at stake. The GOP spike is a departure. In each of the past four years, the party in power — whether Democrat or Republican — raised more than the minority’s fundraising committees in August, a USA TODAY review of campaign records shows. [Spend the money wisely GOP and put a stop to this disastrous Øbama administration’s plans for destroying what’s left of our country…ed]
Elementary School Children Forced To Sing Praises To Barack Hussein Obama
The aclu is first in line when some left wing maggot infested “parent” wants to sue a school district over their kid “having” to recite the Pledge of Allegiance but I suspect we’ll hear nary a word from this virulently anti American organization over this propagandizing of children at the B. Bernice Elementary School in Burlington New Jersey.
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mm!Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be clear today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mm!Barack Hussein Obama
He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mm!Barack Hussein Obama
He said Red, Yellow, Black or White
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mm!Barack Hussein Obama

The brainwashed children continue on:
Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all say “hooray!”
Hooray Mr. President! You’re number one!
The first Black American to lead this great na-TION!
Hooray, Mr. President something-something-some
A-something-something-something-some economy is number one again!
Hooray Mr. President, we’re really proud of you!
And the same for all Americans [in?] the great Red White and Blue!

The UN loves Barack Obama because he is weak
Barack Obama’s Gallup approval rating of 52 percent may well be lower at this stage of his presidency than any US leader in recent times with the exception of Bill Clinton. But he is still worshipped with messiah-like adoration at the United Nations, and is considerably more popular with many of the 192 members of the UN than he is with the American people. (SNIP) He is the first American president who has made an art form out of apologizing for the United States, which he has done on numerous occasions on foreign soil, from Strasbourg to Cairo. [Øbama is nothing but a half black Jimmy Carter and a tool of the one world order cabal. These asshats are laughing it up as he dutifully follows orders and makes this country look like a laughingstock in front of the entire world…ed]
Barack Obama, College Administrator
If you are confused by the first nine months of the Obama administration, take solace that there is at least a pattern. The president, you see, thinks America is a university and that he is our campus president. Keep that in mind, and almost everything else makes sense. Obama went to Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard without much of a break, taught at the University of Chicago, and then surrounded himself with academics, first in his stint at community organizing and then when he went into politics. It shows. In his limited experience, those who went to Yale or Harvard are special people, and the Ivy League environment has been replicated in the culture of the White House. Mark Lloyd is the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)’s Chief Diversity Officer, a.k.a. the Diversity Czar. And he has in a recently discovered bit of archive audio goodness detailed his rather disturbing perspective on race, power and the American system. This is of course in addition to Lloyd’s rather disturbing perspective on the First Amendment.
“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.

U.N. Climate Summit Leaves Large Carbon Footprint
To hear world leaders and others addressing the United Nations Summit on Climate Change, the threat could not be more real and the need more urgent to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. (SNIP) Each foreign leader in town has a convoy of vehicles. Some of them, like President Obama’s motorcade, are 20-to-30 vehicles in length. It’s so long – it seems that when the front of it reaches the U.N., the back end is still back at his hotel. Palin Speaks to Investors in Hong Kong
Sarah Palin, in what was billed as her first speech overseas, spoke on Wednesday to Asian bankers, investors and fund managers. A number of people who heard the speech in a packed hotel ballroom, which was closed to the media, said Mrs. Palin spoke from notes for 90 minutes and that she was articulate, well-prepared and even compelling. “The speech was wide-ranging, very balanced, and she beat all expectations,” said Doug A. Coulter, head of private equity in the Asia-Pacific region for LGT Capital Partners. “She didn’t sound at all like a far-right-wing conservative. [Of course she was articulate, well prepared and compelling, the jerks in the state run media didn’t have the opportunity to edit and hack any videotapes before airing them to a braindead public. ACORN’s Internal Investigation Draws Skepticism From Hill
ACORN’s hiring of a Boston attorney to conduct an internal review of its practices was met with skepticism Tuesday as a California lawmaker called for congressional hearings of the community organizing group over use of taxpayer money. “ACORN has already been down this path before,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., in a written statement, arguing that an internal review it conducted last year did not successfully root out problems that continue to bedevil the group. Controversy over the community organizer’s practices erupted in recent weeks after a series of hidden-camera videos were released showing ACORN workers appearing to offer tax advice to a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute. “A self-run investigation is not a substitute for an independent investigation,” said Issa, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Bank Of America Manager Feels U.S. Flags On Bank Property May Offend Some Customers. Removes Them (Updated 9-23)
How in the world could a branch manager of a South Carolina Bank Of America think that having small U.S. flags placed on the front lawn of the building prior to a funeral procession for one of our fallen Marines killed in Afghanistan would offend some of the customers? Who could possibly take offense that the flag of our country would be placed in front of a Bank Of America?

After ‘Inappropriate’ NEA Conference Call, White House Pushes New Guidelines
An August 10, 2009 National Endowment for the Arts conference call in which artists were asked to help support President Obama’s agenda — a call that at least one good government group called “inappropriate” — has prompted the White House to issue new guidelines to prevent such a call from ever happening again. “The point of the call was to encourage voluntary participation in a national service initiative by the arts community,” White House spokesman Bill Burton told ABC News. “To the extent there was any misunderstanding about what the NEA may do to support the national service initiative, we will correct it. We regret any comments on the call that may have been misunderstood or troubled other participants. Biden on 2010: If GOP Succeeds, It’s ‘The End of the Road for What Barack and I Are Trying to Do’
Vice President Joe Biden said today that if Democrats were to lose 35 House seats they currently hold in traditionally Republican districts, it would mean doomsday for President Obama’s agenda. Biden said Republicans are pinning their political strategy on flipping these seats. “If they take them back, this the end of the road for what Barack and I are trying to do,” the vice president said at a fundraiser for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) today in Greenville, Delaware. Republicans need to pick up 40 seats next November to take back control of the House. There are 49 seats currently held by Democrats in districts that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz) won in last year’s presidential election. Biden said these House seats are Republicans “one shot” at breaking the Obama administration’s agenda. Michelle Obama’s revenge for flirts
Michelle Obama gave her husband the silent treatment at one point in his campaign for president because so many women “pushed their bodies up against his, slipped phone numbers into his pockets” and whispered lewd suggestions in his ear, a new book out today claims. In “Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage” (William Morrow), Christopher Andersen reports, “On more than one occasion, Barack tried not to look startled when some random woman in the crowd would grasp him firmly by the derriere — and sometimes try to hold on.” After an appearance in Peoria, Ill., the future president slid into the back of his SUV, and allegedly said, “Jesus, I wish they’d stop grabbing my ass.” [I think Michelle Obama should probably be more concerned with her husband going all hotel motel with some other fella at least according to some guy named Larry Sinclair…ed]

FACT CHECK: Coverage requirement enforced with tax
Memo to President Barack Obama: It’s a tax. Obama insisted this weekend on national television that requiring people to carry health insurance — and fining them if they don’t — isn’t the same thing as a tax increase. But the language of Democratic bills to revamp the nation’s health care system doesn’t quibble. Both the House bill and the Senate Finance Committee proposal clearly state that the fines would be a tax. And the reason the fines are in the legislation is to enforce the coverage requirement. “If you put something in the Internal Revenue Code, and you tell the IRS to collect it, I think that’s a tax,” said Clint Stretch, head of the tax policy group for Deloitte, a major accounting firm. “If you don’t pay, the person who’s going to come and get it is going to be from the IRS.” [Oh so you mean Øbama WASN’T telling the truth on all those Sunday shows? Federal authorities have tied as many as a dozen people to a suspected Al Qaeda-linked bomb plot on U.S. soil as they continue to gather evidence to indict on terrorism charges the young Afghan immigrant at the center of the case, law enforcement officials said Monday. Authorities said that they did not know the exact number of potential suspects or many of their identities, but that they had been connected through electronic intercepts, surveillance, seized evidence and interviews. A federal law enforcement official and others, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the high level of secrecy surrounding the investigation, said the suspects appeared concentrated in the New York area, with possibly others in the suspect’s home state of Colorado and elsewhere. [New York Democrats outnumber Republicans 5 to 1 so the odds are overwhelming that it will be mostly liberals that bite the big one if the nonexistent (according to Øbama) terrorists blow something to hell. Obama Administration Eases Prison Restrictions For Terrorist Shoe Bomber Richard Reid
What would be the upside for the Obama administration and for that matter the American people, in easing the strict prison oversight of Richard Reid, a man who attempted to ignite explosives in his shoe hoping to bring down an airliner full of human beings midflight between Paris and Miami three months after the World Trade Center attacks?
For the last six years Reid, who was sentenced to life behind bars in a Colorado federal supermax prison, has been forbidden contact with his fellow imprisoned Muslim terrorists and has been severely limited in his contact with the media and outside “pen pals.” For some reason Obama’s Justice Department felt these restrictions were no longer needed and simply dropped them a few months ago. Thus far the current administration has refused to explain their reasoning in this case.
bostonherald.com–Airplane shoe bomber Richard C. Reid no longer faces severe limits on his prison activities or communications after the Obama administration quietly ended years of hard-nosed curbs against the British-born al-Qaeda terrorist.
This summer the Justice Department halted six years of measures that kept Reid from associating or praying with fellow jailed Muslim terrorists, and limited his access to the news media and pen pals.
That move has outraged victims of al-Qaeda and security experts. The recommendation to lift the restrictions was made with input from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, which prosecuted Reid in 2002, federal officials said.
“Terrorists should be held as incommunicado as possible,” said Howard Safir, a former New York City police commissioner and CEO of Safir Rosetti, a division of Global Options Inc., a security consulting firm. “If they can communicate with the outside world, they can direct other people to commit terrorist acts.”
An emotional Hermis Moutardier, one of the flight attendants who thwarted Reid’s botched shoe bombing and was injured by the hulking terrorist, reacted with anger upon learning the news from the Herald by phone Friday.
“What’s wrong with our system?!” cried Moutardier, 54, who lives in Florida and still works as a flight attendant. “I am concerned about the safety of my country, my fellow citizens, my children, the public buildings, that’s my concern.”…..
Americans Say "Congressperson" Is The Least Respected Job In The Land
It seems the American people have had just about enough of the majority of the morons stinking up the halls of Congress and we have now voted this job as the least respected line of “professional” work in the country. Interestingly small business owners are regarded as the most respected even as the Obama administration is doing everything they can to burden those who take the risks and employ the vast majority of the people in this country with any number of onerous government mandates including a plan to force them to provide healthcare insurance for all employees or pay heavy fines in lieu of doing so.

Post Clunker Hangover Expected To Hammer Car Dealers This Month
Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of economic principles could have seen this train wreck coming on down the tracks so that would explain why the Obama administration went ahead with this disaster of a “cash for clunkers” program. Naturally they point to the “wild success” of this clunkers fiasco but what they fail to point out is dealers are still sitting around waiting for the millions of dollars they are owed in rebates by the federal government and the fact that it was the foreign automakers who were the big winners in this American taxpayer funded boondoggle.
The fact of the matter is many in this country suspect the clunker program was really nothing more than a short lived but helpful payback to the auto unions, who supported Obama in a big way during the last election, since it became necessary for many plants to add shifts and recall idled workers to keep up with the brief but intense demand. Unfortunately the “buzz” the clunker program created quickly wore off when “the money” (that hasn’t been paid out yet for the most part) quickly “ran out.” Interestingly the reporting on the fact that dealers are still waiting for the Obama administration to fulfill their promised (on the backs of already overburdened taxpayers) financial obligations seems to have fallen off a journalistic cliff.
I’m left wondering if we’ll soon see a wave of repossessions as many of the people who unloaded their “paid for” vehicles for $500 car payments now realize that their $9.00 an hour jobs just ain’t gonna cut it when it comes time to pay the monthly note and the much higher insurance and registration fees on their brand spankin’ new Japanese skateboard with a hood and headlights.

Pregame Report: The NEA Conference Call
On August 25th 2009, Big Hollywood’s Patrick Courrielche broke the story of a conference call he attended with other “rising artist and art community luminaries”:
On Thursday August 6th, I was invited by the National Endowment for the Arts to attend a conference call scheduled for Monday August 10th hosted by the NEA, the White House Office of Public Engagement, and United We Serve. The call would include “a group of artists, producers, promoters, organizers, influencers, marketers, taste-makers, leaders or just plain cool people to join together and work together to promote a more civically engaged America and celebrate how the arts can be used for a positive change!”
The email invite came directly from Yosi Sergant, then-Director of Communications at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and it advised this hand-picked group that the call was about laying “a new foundation for growth, focusing on core areas of the recovery agenda – health care, energy and environment, safety and security, education, community renewal.” [The Barack “Hugo Chavez” Obama administration is using the taxpayer funded National Endowment for the Arts to “force” artists dependent on NEA subsidies to pay the bills to push his radical leftist agenda. ACORN Chief Dodges Congressman’s Call to Come Before Congress
ACORN’s top officer on Sunday dodged repeated calls to come before Congress and testify about the embattled group’s finances and ties to other organizations. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, had pressed chief organizer Bertha Lewis to prove her commitment to reforming the community activist group by showing more transparency. “The bottom line is there’s no transparency in ACORN,” Issa said on “FOX News Sunday.” [Why doesn’t Issa just put pressure on committee chairman Edolphus Towns to subpoena her fat ass, put her under oath and get some answers out of her over the corrupt organization she runs? A rose (tax) by any other name is still a rose (tax)
President Obama blanketed the Sunday talk shows (except Fox) pushing his ObamaCare again. Among other things he “categorically rejected” the idea that mandating health insurance is not a tax increase even though the IRS would be commissioned to enforce it. This is nothing more than deception, distortion or as Joe Wilson would say…” This is the same man who said: “If your family makes less than $250,000 you will not see your taxes go up by one dime.” Barack Obama when running for president. Now he is proposing a “Cap & Trade” deal that would add between $1700 and $3000 to your energy bill directly and even more as the “economic multiplier” ripples through the economy causing virtually everything to cost more. Yet he says this is not a tax increase. [Every time this Obama clown opens his piehole the Congressman from South Carolina is proven correct when he yelled, “You LIE!”…ed]
Obama open to newspaper bailout bill
The president said he is “happy to look at” bills before Congress that would give struggling news organizations tax breaks if they were to restructure as nonprofit businesses. “I haven’t seen detailed proposals yet, but I’ll be happy to look at them,” Obama told the editors of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Toledo Blade in an interview. Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) has introduced S. 673, the so-called “Newspaper Revitalization Act,” that would give outlets tax deals if they were to restructure as 501(c)(3) corporations. That bill has so far attracted one cosponsor, Cardin’s Maryland colleague Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D). White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had played down the possibility of government assistance for news organizations, which have been hit by an economic downturn and dwindling ad revenue. [Of course Obama would be happy to bail out the newspaper industry, just like many of us predicted he would do many months ago, because they are willing propagandists for his far left agenda and consumers have become well aware of that especially in 2008 when all remnants of honest unbiased journalism finally kicked the bucket…ed]
Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski will announce today his intent to put in place rules that would allow the federal government to regulate the Internet. In a coordinated move to highlight the decision, and to take credit with the left-wing supporters of the policy, known as “net neutrality,” FCC sources say, President Obama will make remarks after Genachowski’s remarks, endorsing the FCC chairman’s decision. “We couldn’t give them a Guantanamo shut down, or ending the Patriot Act, so this is the immediate payoff to MoveOn and Free Press and the those guys who worked so hard for us during the campaign,” says a White House source. “Getting ‘net neutrality’ codified and under out control was at the top of their list of things for us to do.” [Slight correction, Obama doesn’t “byte”, Obama flat out blows!…ed]
THE elderly were the first group to turn against President Obama’s health-care pro posals, alienated by the plans to cut $500 billion cut from Medicare. The young and the uninsured may be the next to jump ship — out of worry over about the huge premiums they’d have to pay. Requiring everyone to buy insurance will impose a massive tax on all who now are uninsured. The Congressional Budget Office projects that it would force the middle-income uninsured to pay on average more than 15 percent of their income. The poor will still have Medicaid. But for those earning more, the required premiums will be worse than any tax increase. For example, CBO estimates that when the program is fully implemented — by 2016 — an individual earning $32,400 a year would have to pay $4,100 in premiums before getting any subsidy. [But but but, Obama says this government mandated health insurance coverage under threat of heavy fines isn’t a tax on the citizens of this country…ed]
