Afghan soldier shoots dead two American troops

An Afghan soldier on guard at a joint base with U.S. troops shot dead two American servicemen and wounded two others as they slept, a provincial official said on Saturday. Shahedullah Shahed, spokesman for the governor of Wardak province west of Kabul, said the shooting took place after a combined team of Afghan and U.S. forces had returned from a joint operation late on Friday. “The Americans were in the middle of sleep when an Afghan soldier on duty opened fire on them,” Shahed said. [Gutless bastard kills and wounds four of our guys while they sleep. Typical behavior for these taliban animals. Time to lift the restrictive ROEs on our guys and start wiping that armpit of a country clean of these vermin…ed]

Meltdown 101: Unemployment by the numbers

If the recession really is ending, someone forgot to tell the nation’s employers. A net total of 263,000 jobs vanished from the economy last month — much worse than economists’ expectation of 180,000 job losses. The Labor Department figures set the stage for a scenario that labor analysts expect: that joblessness will continue to rise for several months or more after the economy starts to rebound. The unemployment rate stands at 9.8 percent, a 26-year high. The rate would have been higher if 571,000 people hadn’t dropped out of the labor force, which many did in frustration over failing to find jobs. That leaves 15.1 million Americans out of work, a huge pool of people. Many discouraged workers are likely to re-enter the labor market and compete for jobs that will eventually be created. [The “real” unemployment rate is close to 17% right now and will continue to rise in the foreseeable future. For every job opening available there are at least six people fighting for it. Kinda makes one wish for the good old 5.5% unemployment rate of the George W. Bush years…ed]

Obama’s Olympic failure will only add to doubts about his presidency

There has been a growing narrative taking hold about Barack Obama’s presidency in recent weeks: that he is loved by many, but feared by none; that he is full of lofty vision, but is actually achieving nothing with his grandiloquence. Chicago’s dismal showing yesterday, after Mr Obama’s personal, impassioned last-minute pitch, is a stunning humiliation for this President. It cannot be emphasised enough how this will feed the perception that on the world stage he looks good — but carries no heft. [Øbama, the personification of the term “empty suit.” What was that loud sound we just heard? Why, that would be Øbama’s enormous ego bubble bursting on the world stage…ed]

Did anti-American resentments play role in Chicago’s bid losing?

Some Chicago officials say anti-American resentments likely played a role in Chicago’s Olympic bid dying in the first round today. President Obama could not undo in one year the resentment against America that President Bush and others built up for decades before, they said. “There must be” resentment against America, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said, near the stage where he had hoped to give a victory speech in Daley Plaza. “The way we [refused to sign] the Kyoto Treaty, we mislead the world into Iraq. The world had a very bad taste in its mouth about us. But there was such a turnaround after last November. The world now feels better about America and about Americans. That’s why I thought the president’s going was the deal-maker.” [Nothing funnier than watching these pathetic leftists try and spin Øbama’s Olympic bitch-slap-heard-round-the-world into Bush’s fault…ed]

ACORN Plans Massive Layoffs

A credible source claims the embattled left-wing advocacy group ACORN is poised to announce massive staff layoffs but an ACORN spokesman denies this is the case. A credible source close to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now revealed that the activist network intends to lay off all staff members operating out of its New Orleans headquarters. All information provided by the source to this reporter in the past has turned out to be correct. However, ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson of the public relations firm The Advance Group in New York City said the source was incorrect. In an interview Friday afternoon with Levenson said (referring to BigGovernment.com), “You guys just can’t get it right. You’re wrong again.” [This massive group of crooked bums are far too important to the Democrats for them to just let ACORN fold up the tent and go away. Probe finds Houston a magnet for cartels

After a police officer and his son found a floating trunk stuffed with a headless torso while fishing in Galveston Bay six years ago, it didn’t take long for authorities to figure out the dead man was the Houston captain of a Texas gang aligned with Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel. On his back, his name was tattooed in Old English script. On his hip, was inked a likeness of a .45-caliber handgun, the sure-fire call sign for a gang whose Spanish name translates as Brotherhood of Latino Gunmen. CNN Anchor Incredulous That Chicago Kicked To Curb In Olympic Bid

“The city of Chicago, having obtained the least number of votes, will not participate in the next round.”

Watch as Tony Harris, hanging out over at the bottom rated CNN, becomes absolutely aghast, dumbfounded and incredulous that his hero Barack Hussein Øbama’s and his wife the lovely and charming James Brown seem to have fallen flat on their face in their teleprompted effort to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics to America. In fact Øbama’s good buddy Richard Daley’s city of Chicago was booted out of the running in the FIRST ROUND.

I suppose that under normal circumstances a fair number of Americans would be a little bummed that we weren’t able to spends millions if not billions of taxpayer dollars that we don’t have so we could claim the ‘honor’ of hosting the Olympics Games but it was especially shocking that the International Olympic Committee had the unmitigated nerve to kick the messiah, OUR messiah (well, not MY messiah) to the curb in such a shabby manner and in the very first round to boot.

While American taxpayers paid millions to shuttle the Øbama’s over to Europe in separate jumbo jets along with their full security details our guys are dying in Afghanistan due to lack of presidential leadership, hundreds of thousands more Americans lost their jobs last month and the healthcare debate rages on the clearly racist IOC cast their desperate efforts aside like they were representing some insignificant third world country. One would think all of those America-sucks-and-I-apologize-to-the-rest-of-the-world-for-the-existence-of-this-evil-country speeches Øbama is infamous for would have held a little more clout over there in Copenhagen.

Apparently not.

Cross Dressing Video Shown To California School Kids To Teach "Tolerance"

cross_dressing - Copy

The loony leftists running the schools in California have sprung another doozy on parents who dutifully send their children off to their state mandated six to eight hour indoctrination camps every morning.

This time it’s a nifty little video about “cross dressers” being force fed to these high school and middle school kids who would normally and understandably have no clue nor possess any desire to know why a male would choose to try and appear to be a woman by wearing female oriented clothing, accessories and makeup.

Ostensibly this ridiculous exercise is aimed at teaching children that they should show “tolerance” towards yet another tiny percentage of our society in another never ending attempt by the homosexual lobby to make every off the wall lifestyle seem perfectly normal to young impressionable minds that they hope will some day vote in favor of legislation they feel would benefit their agenda. Keep in mind if a Christian group tried to show a video depicting a truly normal lifestyle with a father who is a man and a mother who is a woman to these same kids, a situation the majority of the children in this country find themselves in, the oh so tolerant moonbats on the left would become completely unhinged.

christiannewswire.com–A San Francisco group billing itself as “the best in LGBT media” is claiming hundreds of public schools in California have signed up to show its films and use accompanying discussion materials. One film features a boy “coming out” by wearing his mother’s bikini. Another film incorporates Native American spiritualism to cast LGBT (lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender) persons as “two-spirit” people.

The films and school materials are being distributed by Youth in Motion, a partnership between Frameline and Gay-Straight Alliance Network. YIM can be accessed at http://frameline.org/youthinmotion/index.html (warning: may contain offensive content). The films are accompanied by a “curriculum guide” and “action guide.” Among other things, the guides encourage students to question whether religious and cultural celebrations, such as Jewish bar mitzvahs, wrongly discourage homosexual and transgender lifestyles.

The list of schools claimed to use these materials include scores of high schools throughout the state, as well as a few middle and junior high schools, and at least one elementary school in San Leandro, California. While many of the affected schools are located in the Bay Area and Southern California, other regions – including the Sacramento area and small communities in the Central Valley and the Sierras – are also affected……

Letterman admits having sex with female employees

A CBS News employee is accused of trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman, forcing the late-night host to admit in an extraordinary monologue before millions of viewers that he had sexual relationships with female employees. Letterman said that “this whole thing has been quite scary.” But he mixed in jokes while outlining what had happened to him, seeming to confuse a laughing audience at Thursday’s taping about whether the story was true. The network said the person who was arrested works on the true-crime show “48 Hours” and has been suspended. A person with knowledge of the investigation said the suspect is Robert J. Halderman. [This is the same chit pipe who was making crude disgusting “jokes” about Sarah Palin’s 14 year old daughter getting “knocked up” by a Yankees baseball player yet he’s banging female staffers while his felony ugly wife is back home with their six year old son playing house. Losing Faith in the Commander in Chief

The latest Fox News/Opinion Dymanic poll is chock-full of bad news for the president. But on foreign policy, the results are nothing short of stunning. On who they trust more to decide the next steps in Afghanistan. 66 percent say military commanders, while only 20 percent say the president. Even Democrats have more faith in the military commanders (by a 45 to 37 percent margin). On Iran, 69 percent say Obama has not been tough enough, including 55 percent of Democrats. Sixty-one percent favor a U.S. military action, if needed, to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Fifty-one percent think Obama apologizes for American too much. [LOSING faith? Nearly half this country had no faith in this fraud a year and a half ago. What we have been saying all along about this guy is becoming more apparent each and every day…ed]

Importance of Issues

For nearly two years, economic issues have held the top spot in terms of importance among voters. But the latest national telephone survey shows that 83% now view government ethics and corruption as very important, placing it just ahead of the economy on a list of 10 key electoral issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports. Eighty-two percent (82%) of voters see the economy as very important. This is the first time since October 2007 that voters have rated ethics and corruption as more important than the economy. Voters viewed the two issues evenly in November and December 2007 before placing a higher priority on the economy starting in January 2008. [Considering all of the scumbags Øbama has brought on board to “advise” him and all of the crooks in Congress passing legislation forcing us to live they way they think we should while they break every law on the books with impunity it’s little wonder citizens are fed up with the corruption and lack of ethics in government…ed]

U.S. Sept non-farm payrolls plunge 263,000

U.S. employers cut a deeper-than-expected 263,000 jobs in September, lifting the unemployment rate to 9.8 percent, according to a government report on Friday that fueled fears the weak labor market could undermine economic recovery. The Labor Department said the unemployment rate was the highest since June 1983 and payrolls had now dropped for 21 consecutive months. Analysts polled by Reuters had expected non-farm payrolls to drop 180,000 in September and the unemployment rate to rise to 9.8 percent from 9.7 percent the prior month. Anti-Obama Sign Displayed on Metro Highway

An unusual sign has appeared along Interstate 70 in Blue Springs. If you are traveling in the eastbound lanes of the freeway between Adams Dairy Parkway and the Grain Valley exit you will see a sign that appears to be anti-President Barack Obama. The sign features the hammer and sickle, a symbol of communism and insinuates that Obama will jeopardize the first and second amendments to the Constitution, which are free speech and the right to keep and bear arms. (SNIP) Let us know what you think. Is the sign offensive, or is it freedom of speech? [Is the sign offensive? Hey idiots, the First Amendment isn’t there to protect polite speech and if someone finds it “offensive” too damn bad. I’m offended that anyone who may be offended didn’t take the time to learn about this Øbama guy before they voted for him…ed]

ACORN plot found, Oklahoma GOP says

A Republican state legislator released documents Tuesday which he says show the community-organizing group ACORN focused on helping Democrats in three legislative races in the November 2008 election and had developed a game plan to “take power” in Oklahoma within five years. The documents, which include legislative district maps and various forms, were recovered from computers abandoned by ACORN workers in Oklahoma City, said Rep. Mike Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City. Also found was a script apparently used in Houston to go door-to-door to encourage voters to vote for Barack Obama in November 2008. “They say they’re not political, but one of the subdirectories was called political action plans,” Reynolds said. “It was their political plans to take over key targeted races in Oklahoma City to show how powerful they are.” [It’s time for the GOP to go after these ACORN bastards with a vengeance. Sympathy for the Devil

How concerned should we be about Obama? Is he a potential dictator with a weird cult following who could destroy this country? To put it more bluntly, does Obama have the potential for inflicting evil on us? Or, if he’s a puppet, are the ones holding the strings malevolent? These may be the most crucial and urgent questions of our times. Is Obamaphobia a legitimate reaction to an angry president with a vendetta, surrounded by psycho czars? Or is the imagination running amok? [Gotta read this one all the way through. Robin from Berkeley has a very interesting take on “The Won”…ed]

APF & Hardin Constitution Violations

A Livingston state representative is questioning whether Hardin officials and American Police Force have violated the Montana constitution. Representative Robert Ebinger says he became aware of the situation after Cascade and Park County law enforcement officials came to him asking questions about APF. Well right now I’m confused,” said Ebinger and that confusion led the representative to ask for action Tuesday when the Law and Justice Committee met in Helena. APF’s Newest Employee

The California-based security company planning to take over the Hardin jail promises to hire dozens of local employees. Last week they made their first local hire when they signed former Billings Gazette reporter Becky Shay as their director of public relations. Shay still needs a map to get around the 114,000 square foot facility. With 20 years of reporting under her belt, Shay said she’s more comfortable with a pen in her hand and topping her to-do list is purchasing new reporter’s notebooks. [More APF and Hardin Montana…ed]

Calif. jail entrepreneur has checkered past

Michael Hilton showed up in Hardin, Mont., last week, presenting himself as an economic savior, the man who would take over the town’s $27 million jail — empty since it was built as a development project in 2007 — and provide 200 new jobs in the process. He wore a military style uniform, and as a gesture to local law enforcement offered up the use of three Mercedes SUVs. But the man who styles himself as a military veteran turned private sector entrepreneur and a California defense contractor with extensive government contracts also has another image, and that one is provided by public documents and interviews with associates and legal adversaries. Video footage shows terror suspect Najibullah Zazi and several cohorts trying to rent trucks in Colorado the week before the 9/11 anniversary, it was reported Wednesday. The men were captured on security videotapes asking about the trucks in a Colorado U-Haul International office, according to KUSA-TV Denver. U-Haul International spokeswoman Joanne Fried told the local station that FBI agents seized security videotapes of Zazi who was with two or three other men inside the rental location in suburban Aurora. Palin co-author: Evangelical, partisan

Sarah Palin’s most consequential choice since leaving the Alaska governor’s mansion may be her co-author – a staunch conservative, devoted evangelical Christian, and intensely partisan Republican from far, far outside the Beltway. U.S. Supreme Court To Accept Case Challenging Chicago's Handgun Ban

mini 14 - Copy

It looks like Mayor Richard Daley’s strict ban on handguns for law abiding citizens in Chicago is headed for the U.S. Supreme Court and hopefully the trash bin after the predictable 5-4 ruling is handed down next year. In McDonald vs. Chicago 76 year old Otis McDonald, who says he was once robbed at gunpoint, is challenging the three decades long prohibition on the possession of handguns (the preferred method of self defense weapon for millions of Americans) in Chicago, a city wracked with gun violence wrought by gangbangers and thugs who could care less about any laws on the books. In fact these criminals actually rely on those who obey these restrictive guns laws to make their “job” of robbing and pillaging much less dangerous.

When the handguns bans in Chicago and nearby Oak Park are struck down it’s time to head to the coasts and tackle similar draconian firearm restrictions in California and New York sending a reminder to the leftists that the entire Constitution applies in this country, not just the stuff that works for their warped ideology.

Patriot Act helped foil New York terror plot

President Obama called New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly to thank him for his efforts in thwarting a planned terrorist attack on the city’s subway system, which counterterrorism experts describe as the most serious terror plot since 9/11. But Obama should have also thanked his predecessor in the White House. The arrest and indictment of Najibullah Zazi on charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction was made possible by the “roving wiretaps” allowed by the Patriot Act, which was signed into law in 2001 by President George W. Bush. “All the layers of defense President Bush set up after Sept. 11 are working,” Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., pointed out. [A grip of New York liberals probably had their lives saved by legislation they spent years whining and bellyaching about. Criminal deportees often fly unescorted

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials routinely put illegal immigrants unescorted on commercial flights for deportation, including some who are sex offenders or have other criminal records, according to documents and field agent accounts. The practice has prompted complaints from a key U.S. senator and ICE union leaders, who contend that putting illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes on commercial airlines unescorted poses a severe public safety risk. Unescorted deportees have caused disruptions on flights and have absconded after unscheduled stops, including two Peruvian deportees who disappeared from Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport in July, according to field agent reports collected by union officials. Internal ICE documents show that illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes involving victims as young as 11 have been allowed to fly unescorted. State to Mom: Stop Baby-Sitting Neighbors’ Kids

Each day before the school bus comes to pick up the neighborhood’s children, Lisa Snyder did a favor for three of her fellow moms, welcoming their children into her home for about an hour before they left for school. Regulators who oversee child care, however, don’t see it as charity. Days after the start of the new school year, Snyder received a letter from the Michigan Department of Human Services warning her that if she continued, she’d be violating a law aimed at the operators of unlicensed day care centers. “I was freaked out. I was blown away,” she said. “I got on the phone immediately, called my husband, then I called all the girls” — that is, the mothers whose kids she watches — “every one of them.” [One of this lady’s neighbors bawled to the Michigan state government that God forbid some kids had a place to hang out for a few minutes and wait for their school bus in the morning. Obamamania Over? T-shirts Measure Success

They cashed out retirement funds to build their business during the 2008 presidential campaign. Now they have 3,000 jack-in-the-boxes with smiling Barack Obama puppets inside – all sitting in a California warehouse, waiting to be sprung open for $29.95 apiece. For Barack-in-the-Box creator Heather Courtney and her husband, David Manzo, the Obamamania that drove sales so fast they could barely keep up during the inauguration is over now. Sales have slowed to a “sporadic drizzle,” the 36-year-old artist said, in part because the president’s just not as popular. “The sort of rock-star-making-history thing had its peak,” Courtney said. “It seemed like people said ‘That’s all done now, let’s get down to business.”‘ [Maybe they could change the name to “Fraud-In-The-Box” and market these stupid things through Hillary Clinton fanclub websites?…ed]

Former ACORN worker details blackjack voter registration bonuses

In the summer of 2008, with presidential contenders battling fiercely over the swing state of Nevada, Christopher Edwards was racing to register voters. As the field director of ACORN’s Las Vegas office, he brainstormed a way to motivate meagerly paid canvassers: If they turned in 21 or more registration cards in a day, they were each given a $5 bonus. “Hey, it’s Las Vegas,” Edwards testified Tuesday. “It’s blackjack.” But Edwards’ “blackjack bonuses,” which he bragged about to other ACORN offices, broke the law, state prosecutors say. Nevada bars quotas or cash incentives in voter sign-up efforts: Officials fear they could lead to false registrations. [“Officials fear they could lead to false registrations.”???? OF COURSE these quotas led to phony voter registration forms being submitted by these workers which is precisely what the top brass at the criminal enterprise known as ACORN wanted!…ed]

FEMA Grant to ACORN is Offensive

Earlier this month and despite the public scrutiny over the voter fraud and felony criminal activity associated with ACORN, the Department of Homeland Security went ahead and granted $997,402 to ACORN under the FY 2008 Fire Prevention and Safety Program. To most people, the timing and the amount of the grant would seem off base, but when you take into account the fact that DHS awarded ACORN–an organization with no clear expertise in fire safety and prevention–a fire prevention and safety grant, it’s just plain offensive. With fire departments all over Louisiana – and the rest of the country – struggling to make ends meet and get the equipment and training they need to protect their local communities, the idea of a million dollar grant going to ACORN is unsettling, to say the least. [A million dollars to this corrupt group from FEMA for fire prevention and safety? The only think these ACORN thugs are good for is breaking the law, what the hell do they know about fire prevention and safety? Democrats Join Republicans On Senate Finance Committee To Vote Down Government Option Amendments To Baucus ObamaCare Bill

“We are going to get at this, and at this, and at this, until we succeed, because we believe in it so strongly. The more Americans hear about benefits the more they like it,” so says New York Senator Chuck Shumer.

Obviously Mr. Shumer has his finger pressed in all the wrong places when he tries to measure the pulse of American citizens when it comes to this ObamaCare nonsense.

healthcare_chart - Copy

rasmussenreports.com–Just 41% of voters nationwide now favor the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s down two points from a week ago and the lowest level of support yet measured.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% are opposed to the plan.

Senior citizens are less supportive of the plan than younger voters. In the latest survey, just 33% of seniors favor the plan while 59% are opposed. The intensity gap among seniors is significant. Only 16% of the over-65 crowd Strongly Favors the legislation while 46% are Strongly Opposed.

For the first time ever, a slight plurality of voters now express doubt that the legislation will become law this year. Forty-six percent (46%) say passage is likely while 47% say it is not. Those figures include 18% who say passage is Very Likely and 15% who say it is Not at All Likely. Sixty percent (60%) are less certain.

Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Democrats say the plan is at least somewhat likely to become law. Sixty-one percent (61%) of Republicans disagree. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 34% say passage is at least somewhat likely while 58% say it is not…..

But then again how many of the Democrats in Washington DC these days really care how the people who put them in office feel about the government trying to take control of their healthcare?

It seems at least a few of them do including Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Max Baucus, (D-Mont.) who keeps trying to tell fellow Democrats on his committee that a government option will not pass a vote in the full Senate but the hard core leftists, like Shumer and Rockefeller, simply won’t listen.
