“Tea Party” organizers and participants are lambasted by the leftists and their cohorts in the mainstream media who have described them as nothing more than a gaggle of redneck rubes taking their marching orders from the likes of megamouth Rush Limbaugh. American citizens attending townhall style meetings held by members of Congress who are supposed to be representing them were called racists, nazis and nothing but a bunch of angry white people who were only fired up because radio and television host Glenn Beck told them to get out there and mix it up.

But when it comes to the left wingers “civil” disobedience is just fine, in fact honorable according to Al Gore, as long as it serves their crazy ass agenda such as pushing this climate change scam onto the backs of hard working American taxpayers.

Amid increasing incidents of climate protesters disrupting the operations of fossil-fuel industries and airports in Britain and elsewhere, Gore suggests the scale of the emergency means non-violent lawbreaking is justified. “Civil disobedience has an honourable history, and when the urgency and moral clarity cross a certain threshold, then I think that civil disobedience is quite understandable, and it has a role to play,” he says. “And I expect that it will increase, no question about it.”

In his only UK newspaper interview to mark the publication of his new book, entitled Our Choice, Gore says it is crucial for Obama to attend Copenhagen in person, adding: “I feel certain that he will”….

Thirteen dead and 31 wounded would be a bad day for the U.S. military in Afghanistan, and a great victory for the Taliban. George W. Bush Visits Fort Hood, Wounded Soldiers

Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited wounded soldiers and their families near the site of the worst mass shooting on an Army post in the United States. The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood’s Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night. Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in an e-mail that the couple thanked Fort Hood’s military leaders and hospital staff for the “amazing care they are providing.” [Unlike the current CIC, for all his faults Bush always really did care about the troops…ed]

Broader Measure of U.S. Unemployment Stands at 17.5%

For all the pain caused by the Great Recession, the job market still was not in as bad shape as it had been during the depths of the early 1980s recession — until now. With the release of the jobs report on Friday, the broadest measure of unemployment and underemployment tracked by the Labor Department has reached its highest level in decades. If statistics went back so far, the measure would almost certainly be at its highest level since the Great Depression. In all, more than one out of every six workers — 17.5 percent — were unemployed or underemployed in October. The previous recorded high was 17.1 percent, in December 1982. [Until these unemployment numbers start dropping as quickly as Obama’s poll numbers the American people aren’t gonna buy the story that our economy is starting to turn around…ed]

How many more jobs will Obama kill?

Unemployment has hit 10.2 percent, the highest level since the 1983 recession. Obama administration officials will no doubt try to spin this latest bad economic news by noting that unemployment is typically a “lagging indicator.” That was true in the old days, but it won’t cut it in the age of the global economy and Internet-driven 24/7 news cycle. Unemployment may now be something of a leading indicator because business executives make decisions about whether to invest in new jobs much more quickly and based on vastly more data. (SNIP) It’s time for Obama and Democratic congressional leaders Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to step back from their radical plans to vastly expand federal power, spending, deficits and taxes, and instead reach out to conservatives in both parties who understand how to make the economy grow with tax cuts, reduced bureaucracy, and lower government spending. The original intent of this section of our fourteenth amendment, which was ratified in 1868 after the end of the “Civil War,” was to ensure that newly freed slaves who were born in this country would indeed be considered to be and have all the rights of United States citizens. It was NOT intended to ensure that someday anyone could sneak into our country illegally and subsequently give birth to their child on our soil at our expense then be able to utilize that particular circumstance to take advantage of our far too indiscriminating welfare system.

Unfortunately for America a Democrat Party dominated Congress in 1965 basically threw open the doors to our country and in the process perverted the intent of our Constitution, yet again, when they rammed through what became known as the Immigration and Nationality Act which allowed an unlimited number of “family reunification visas,” better known as the anchor baby free ride, and we’ve all been paying for it dearly ever since.

I was watching BBC’s Newsnight when the story broke of a killing spree at a Texas military base and instantly wondered – as I’m sure did 99.99 per cent of its other viewers – whether this had anything to do with the Religion of Peace. Then a news update came in that the suspect’s name was ‘Hasan’. But the BBC’s reporter hastened to reassure us that there was “no evidence” to suggest this was an act of “terrorism”. Phew! Perish the unworthy thought. Even today, the MSM is treading on eggshells regarding the killer’s possible motivation. [Screw political correctness. Fanatical muslims have infiltrated many segments of our society and they have chosen to declare war with our way of life. Jobless rate tops 10 pct. for first time since ’83

The unemployment rate has hit double digits for the first time since 1983 — and is likely to go higher. The 10.2 percent jobless rate for October shows how weak the economy remains even though it is growing. The rising jobless rate could threaten the recovery if it saps consumers’ confidence and makes them more cautious about spending as the holiday season approaches. The October unemployment rate — reflecting nearly 16 million jobless people — jumped from 9.8 percent in September, the Labor Department said Friday. The job losses occurred across most industries, from manufacturing and construction to retail and financial. Economists say the unemployment rate could surpass 10.5 percent next year because employers are reluctant to hire. [So much for the “economic recovery” the Obama administration is trying to peddle. Owens Breaks 4 Campaign Promises in first hour in Congress

Congressman-elect Bill Owens was sworn in at noon today. Owens indicated in a press release released shortly afterwards that he was now in favor of the the “Affordable Healthcare for America Act” bill in direct contrast to his earlier position during the election campaign. According to Politico.com, Mr. Owens assured voters that he felt the public option had no place in the health care reform bill. Contrary to that position, Mr. Owens now indicates that he intends to vote in favor of the bill even though it now contains a public option. [What a shock to discover that a slimeball Democrat lied while on the campaign trail. It looks like this Owens fella took a page directly out of the Obama playbook now doesn’t it?…ed]

Watch Barack Hussein Obama's Nonchalant Response To Fort Hood Massacre By Muslim Whackjob

If anyone was a little wobbly over Barack Hussein Obama’s dedication to our armed forces in the past the news conference he gave after the massacre of American citizens and soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas by a crazed muslim should quickly clear up any lingering doubts.

Many have questioned Obama’s eligibility to serve as president and commander in chief long before he was elected. This concern was first raised by the Hillary Clinton for president crowd and has continued to this day. It’s the opinion of millions of Americans these concerns may be well founded.

The reason so many millions of Americans are concerned about this issue can probably best be explained by watching Obama’s reaction to the murder of innocent American servicemen at the hands of Nidal Malik Hasan, a native born citizen who became a muslim convert, who had demonstrated a history of anti American behavior yet, no doubt due to the pervasive political correctness in this country, was allowed to remain in the military.

Observe as Mr. Obama first gives a “shout out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow, that Congressional Medal of Honor winner” (Crow was actually a Medal of FREEDOM recipient and Obama should know that, he gave it to him) and babbles on with more lip service to “the first Americans” before eventually getting around to bizarrely addressing the Fort. Twelve people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting spree at a Texas military base by what officials believe was possibly carried out by an Army officer. The suspected gunman was identified by ABC News as Major Malik Nadal Hasan. The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said. The gunman used two handguns, Cone said. He wasn’t sure if the shooter reloaded the weapons during the attack. [Note the name of the dead guy who started this killing spree. A majority of Americans now see President Barack Obama as governing from the left. Specifically, 54% say his policies as president have been mostly liberal while 34% call them mostly moderate. Speaker Pelosi’s Government-Run Health Plan Will Require a Monthly Abortion Premium

Health care reform should not be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions. Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life – not end it. Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi’s 2,032-page government takeover of health care does just that. On line 17, p. 110, section 222 under “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed” the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan. The Speaker’s plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions. What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan. It’s right there on line 16, page 96, section 213, under “Insurance Rating Rules.” The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account – and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services. [If only Nancy Pelosi’s mother had made the choice to abort her perhaps we would not have this kind of garbage showing up in unconstitutional legislation…ed]

More than a few Democrats in Congress are perplexed and worried that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is insisting on ramming through a 1,900-page health care bill on Saturday, just days after her party took heavy losses in Tuesday’s elections. “It reminds me of Major Nicholson, the obsessed British major in the film ‘Bridge on the River Kwai,'” one Democrat told me. “She is fixated on finishing her health care bridge even as she’s lost sight of where it’s going and what damage it could cause to her own troops.” Indeed, the Speaker’s take on Tuesday’s off-year elections struck some of her own members as delusive “happy talk.” “From our perspective, we won last night,” a cheerful Ms. Pelosi told reporters, citing her party’s pick-up of a single House seat in a New York special election and retention of another strongly Democratic seat in California. Under the health care bills in Congress, you could apply for coverage through a new high-risk pool that President Barack Obama promises would immediately start serving patients with pre-existing medical problems. Wait a second. Read the fine print. You may have to be uninsured for six months to qualify. “If you are a cancer patient and have cancer now, you can’t wait six months to go into a plan because your condition can go from bad to death,” said Stephen Finan, a policy expert with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Health Care Reform Assumes Millions Would Pay Fine Rather Than Get Coverage

The health care reform bill awaiting debate in the House assumes millions of workers and employers would rather pay $167 billion in fines than purchase or provide adequate coverage, according to a recent analysis, raising questions about whether the plan does enough to make insurance affordable. Though the bill is estimated to expand coverage from the current 83 percent to 96 percent of legal U.S. residents, the windfall of projected penalty payments also exposes a potential contradiction in reform. A significant part of the plan to expand coverage relies financially on fines from the uninsured. Heated referendums over same-sex partnership laws in Maine and Washington powered voter turnouts today in an off-year election that included closely watched races in New Jersey, Virginia and New York. Pundits were debating what the results could mean for President Obama, who campaigned for Democrats in governors’ races in New Jersey and Virginia and in an upstate New York congressional race. But the White House sought to put some distance between the president and the outcome. “We don’t look at either of the gubernatorial races or the congressional race as something that portends a lot for our legislative efforts going forward or our political prospects in 2010,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said at his daily briefing. Forget the 2-1 Spin; It Was a Rout

The Democrats did not lose a 2-1 squeaker last night. They lost two huge races, saw an overall evaporation of 25 basis points of support — and lost by nearly 500,000 cumulative votes in the three high-profile elections. Or put another way, Republicans won two races decided by millions of voters — and Democrats won a small race dominated by party operatives. In addition, the GOP made some historic gains in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Washington state special elections to boot. In the context of Bob McDonnell’s huge win in Virginia and Chris Christie’s surprisingly comfortable win in New Jersey, of all places, the fact that Bill Owens scraped up enough votes to win NY-23 is a testament to the superior political insider maneuvering of the Democrats over the Republicans. Revenge of the middle class

The elections today should send a simple message to the Obama administration and congressional Democrats: You lost the middle class, and you won’t get them back until you fundamentally change your legislative agenda. The Obama magic has faded

All politics is local, they say, and Tuesday’s off-off-year elections certainly had their local angles. Jon Corzine has been a terrible governor even by the undemanding standards of terribly governed New Jersey. Creigh Deeds, though he looked good to Democratic Party recruiters not long ago, turned out to be an undistinguished campaigner, more driven by the concerns of Washington Post editorialists than of Virginia voters. And NY-23 Republican nomineee Dede Scozzafava was a bizarre choice, bizarre enough to inspire a seemingly quixotic third-party run by Doug Hoffman. But these local angles weren’t enough to keep the Obama administration out of the races. President Obama barnstormed Virginia and New Jersey — and pumped money and Joe Biden into NY-23 in support of Democratic candidate Bill Owens. (One suspects Owens would have preferred more money and less Biden.) And — until it started looking as if they might lose — the Obama people were suggesting that these races would seal their mandate and encourage congressional wafflers to toe the line on health-care reform. Not so much, as it turns out. In fact, the elections underscored Obama’s political weakness just one year after his triumphant victory over Republican moderate John McCain. Youtube Gives The Boot To Dr. James David Manning And His Wildly Popular Videos

Considering Google, which we all know owns Youtube, has their CEO AND their head of public policy fellas sitting pretty in the Obama administration one has to wonder, ever so briefly of course, if perhaps the White House might somehow be behind the suspension of Dr. James David Manning’s account?

techcrunch.com–Google’s head of public policy, Andrew McLaughlin, will join the Obama administration as deputy chief technology officer, according to a report by the New York Times. McLaughlin will assist former Virginia Secretary of Technology Aneesh Chopra, who President Obama appointed as CTO in April.

McLaughlin has been leading Google’s public policy efforts for quite some time now. According to this blog post, he was the first member of Google’s policy team in 2005.

Before his time at Google, McLaughlin launched the nonprofit group Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, where he serves as vice president, chief policy officer, and chief financial officer. Previously, McLaughlin was a senior fellow at Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for Internet. Most recently, McLaughlin was working on the Obama/Biden presidential transition team in Washington……

Frankly I am amazed that some of the most shameless water carriers for the president, the previously mentioned Google owned Youtube, hasn’t booted our favorite pastor off their site long ago! After all we quickly discovered it is against the rules to ever criticize Mr. Michelle Obama in any way shape or form especially in a medium where some of the younger folks among us (perhaps even some black folks!) may be able to get a differing point of view other than what they are used to getting from the likes of Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart over at Comedy Central, race baiters extraordinaire Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and the predictable left wing offerings from the lamestream media.

Al Gore could become world’s first carbon billionaire

Last year Mr Gore’s venture capital firm loaned a small California firm $75m to develop energy-saving technology. The company, Silver Spring Networks, produces hardware and software to make the electricity grid more efficient. The deal appeared to pay off in a big way last week, when the Energy Department announced $3.4 billion in smart grid grants, the New York Times reports. Of the total, more than $560 million went to utilities with which Silver Spring has contracts. The move means that venture capital company Kleiner Perkins and its partners, including Mr Gore, could recoup their investment many times over in coming years. Few people have been as vocal about the urgency of global warming and the need to reinvent the way the world produces and consumes energy as Mr Gore. And few have put as much money behind their advocacy and are as well positioned to profit from this green transformation, if and when it comes. Clinton wishes he had left White House “in a coffin”

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said on Monday he would have preferred to leave the White House in a coffin because he loved being commander in chief, but signaled his political life was over. “It’s good that we have a (term) limit. Otherwise I would have stayed until I was carried away in a coffin. Or defeated in an election,” Clinton said at a conference in Istanbul. “I loved doing the job.” [But then we would have been stuck with that blithering idiot Al Gore until Bush was elected! Is ‘Barack n Bones’ Obama thin as a rail because he’s skipping too many meals to run the country?

The weight of the world may be on his shoulders but there’s not much around President Barack Obama’s middle. The U.S. president has invoked the concern in America after walking out of a gym looking skinnier than ever. Clutching an energy drink, Mr Obama is pictured looking cheerful as he left the gym at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C. But the influential U.S. website, The Drudge Report, which described him as ‘thin as a rail’, quoted an insider who said the president was working so hard that ‘yes he does occasionally skip meals’. [The headline alone is good for a laugh. Skipping meals because he is too busy “running the country?” Spare me the BS. This guy has golfed more in nine months than Bush did in three years. He has had more “date nights” since his inauguration with his wife James Brown than Bill Clinton has had with Hillary since their college years. All Obama has done is screw around ever since he was handed the keys to our White House so if he is getting skinny it sure as hell isn’t because he’s working too hard…ed]

Gibbs Says He Doesn’t Know if White House Has Reviewed Constitutionality of Forcing People to Buy Health Insurance

White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs said today that he does not know if White House lawyers have reviewed whether it is constitutional for the federal government to order individuals to buy health insurance and said that the White House is not seriously considering the concerns of people such as Sen. Orrin Hatch (R.-Utah) who believe the mandate is not constitutionally justified. This was the second time in two weeks that Gibbs had dismissed concerns that the Constitution does not give the federal government the power to force individuals to purchase items the government wants them to purchase. [Just goes to show you how this administration feels about our Constitution…ed]

House Republicans Find 111 New ‘Bureaucracies’ in Health Care Bill

House Republicans claimed Monday that the health care reform bill pushed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi would create a whopping 111 new “federal bureaucracies.” In its latest attempt to portray the Democrats’ reform package as an unwieldy expansion of federal government in the health care sector, the House Republican Conference circulated what it called a list of “new boards, bureaucracies, commissions and programs” created in the House health care bill. Among some off the new agencies, the list cites a Health Insurance Exchange; the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation; the Public Health Investment Fund; the Public Health Workforce Corps; an Assistant Secretary for Health Information; the Food and Drug Administration Office of Women’s Health; grant programs for alternative medical liability laws, infant mortality programs and other issues; and about 100 other government-sponsored creations. “That ought to tell you all that we need to know, that we’re going to have 1,990 pages of legislation,” House Minority Leader John Boehner said in an interview Sunday. “The word ‘shall’ exists in this bill 3,345 times.” [Not all that surprising considering the Democrats are all about government interference in our lives from before we are born til the day we get the thumbs down from a death panel…ed]

Last week the Congressional Budget Office “scored” the House of Representatives’ revised health insurance “public option” and found it would charge premiums higher than those of private insurance and attract only six million buyers. Thus, the growing worry that a public option would undercut private policies and soon drive them out of business seemed to evaporate. Speaker Pelosi, cheerleader for a “public option,” gloated that the consolidated House bill came in under President Obama’s declared ceiling cost of $900 billion and would not add to the deficit. The case for passage seemed airtight — for the moment. House liberals had wheeled in a Trojan Pony (too small to be a horse and, unlike the Trojan Horse, it couldn’t hold enough soldiers to rout the enemy). Barack Obama Lifts Ban On HIV/AIDS Infected Immigrants Into America

I wish someone could explain to me exactly what the upside is in allowing people infected with the HIV/AIDS disease to now emigrate into our country after being banned from doing so for years?

Have we not been hammered by Obama and his liberal allies in Congress over the last year or so about how our terrible decrepit healthcare system is already way too expensive and on the verge of collapsing our economy as it is? If that’s the case why do we need thousands of immigrants from other countries coming to American and burdening our already overwhelmed hospitals and medical facilities with their extremely expensive health problems? In addition, with all of the truly important problems we are dealing with in this country one has to wonder what in the world brought this particular issue to the forefront?

This guy can’t make a decision on the request for much needed additional troops from his hand picked commander on the ground in Afghanistan but boy he sure doesn’t mess around with pressing issues such as allowing people with deadly diseases into OUR country.
