Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Wall Street bailout and those lying Democrats.

9-22-08

So, the meltdown on Wall Street has exposed Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Jimmy Carter Community Reinvestment Act for what they really were. Another Democrat handout to people that wouldn’t otherwise qualify to buy a home and a terrific source of campaign cash and suitcases full of money for the party and their cronies. Oh sure we hear the real problem was actually credit conundrums, stocks swings, derivative deviations, bond bombs, Republican deregulation of banks and investment firms and of course the ubiquitous “it’s all Bush’s fault” from the “never at fault for anything” Democrats.” What is really infuriating to conservatives is this constant drumbeat of lies and redirection from the truth brought by the Democrats and their buddies in the mainstream media. Keep pounding that drum, get some help from the Washington Post, New York Times, msnbc et al and eventually it appears to be reality. Facts be damned.

Sarah Palin is making their collective heads explode. Keep it up Governor.

9-19-08

It has been very interesting sitting back watching the response from the Democrats and the liberals since Sarah Palin was announced as the Republican vice presidential nominee. Normally speaking every person that decides to enter the meat grinder of political life should expect to get a pretty thorough examination of their life from the media and especially their opponent. Any funky stuff in their background will be quickly discovered and no matter the degree of said funkiness it will be pounced upon and the entire world will know about it within minutes. That’s the way the program works these days.

As we all learned during this particular presidential election, the media has a tendency to play favorites. I know it may be shocking to some but the fact that those tasked with informing the public during this election cycle actually tend to lean pretty heavily in the direction of the Democrats and it has finally been exposed. Now in all honesty many of us have known about this for quite some time but trying to shout it out and get heard was about as futile an exercise as getting the kids to hit the light switch when they walk out of a room. Let’s take a short but forceful stroll through this subject shall we?

Barack Obama, the Second Amendment and why you should be very concerned.

9-18-08

Barack Obama is the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. Liberals do not like guns. Liberals do not want you to have a gun. Liberals and socialist from all over the world like Obama a lot. The well known billionaire and socialist George Soros likes Obama a lot. He likes him so much that he brought one of the architects of Australia’s gun elimination program, Rebecca Peters, who runs the Soros sponsored International Action Network Against Small Arms (IANSA), to the U.S. to prepare for what they hope will be an Obama presidency. Rebecca Peters has been quoted after the successful Australian gun banning effort was complete:

Comprehensive American Energy Security and Consumer Protection Act H.R. 6899 [EH] and Pelosi the lunatic.

9-17-08

I thought it would be a great idea to take a look at this piece of garbage pushed and supported by the extreme left wing Speaker of the House, the most powerful woman in America, Nancy Pelosi.

Most legislation is jammed packed with all kinds of language that many people would find objectionable if they were simply made aware of it. This would certainly be the case with this bill which really has nothing to do with approaching or attempting to solve any energy issues in this country.

The Republicans, in an attempt to actually get something important accomplished in this Pelosi led do nothing 110th House of Representatives, tried to introduce some common sense energy policy in the way of H.R. 6566, full text found here.

Another Sarah Palin interview.

9-15-08

Most of us have seen the recent Charles Gibson, Governor Sarah Palin interview on ABC. Mrs. Palin has been selected as the Republican vice presidential running mate of John McCain, the presidential nominee. There has been a lot of chatter about the aggressive manner in which Gibson conducted himself when asking Palin various questions concerning her suitability of assuming the vice presidential role if elected. I think most of us appreciate it when those in the media, tasked with interviewing politicians, do their best to keep them on point with as little double speak as possible. However I believe it is imperative these media folks treat politicians the same, not go after one candidate with an obvious agenda in mind and treat the other side with kid gloves.

John McCain's health and the desperation coming from the liberals.

9-15-08

We have heard the hype, ad nauseam, from those on the left. John McCain has had cancer and he may die in office. This would leave the country with an inexperienced and unprepared Sarah Palin as the new president causing the United States to fall into unprecedented and unrecoverable chaos. Oh the humanity!

The Democrats are famous for this tact. They keep repeating the same mantra on several different issues as a collective group and pretty soon the under informed masses actually begin to believe it. This sounds something like throwing handfuls of spaghetti against the fridge door hoping at least some of it actually sticks. Exactly what they are hoping to accomplish with this McCain health nonsense.

Google search – women for Sarah Palin – check out the top sites listed.

9-13-08

I was reading a message board thread where someone was ecstatic they had found a forum where a bunch of bitter and bored women who hate Sarah Palin can congregate. At first glance it appeared to be a place for a group of clearly jealous women to exchange rumors that have already been positively debunked. I’m sure the five people that have all registered under 20 different screen names to make it look like the place is booming are enjoying their little cocoon where they feel comfy giggling over all their little fibs. Awww, hey if it makes you feel better ladies 🙂

WHO am I?

Post contributed by Eric, 9-13-08

OK, some of you know that “Who Am I” is a popular song by the Christian group Casting Crowns! But it’s also the title of a pretty eye-opening e-mail I received yesterday from a long-time friend:

WHO AM I?

I am under 45 years old,
I love the outdoors,
I hunt,
I am a Republican reformer,
I have taken on the Republican Party establishment,
I have many children,
I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president

with less than two years in the governor’s office.

(INSERT FINAL JEOPARDY! THEME MUSIC HERE)

Well duh, Eric, the answer is obviously Sarah Palin! Yeahhhh……but that’s too easy!

Some Vintage Video Games.

Sarah Palin stupid rumors addressed here.

Take your “Should I vote for Barack Obama” test and see how you do. I disagreed with 46 out of 47 or his positions so it is safe to say I will not be voting for him this November.

Funny Obama stuff.

Hillary about to catch a right hook.

One of the best articles I have ever read about the path towards socialism this country is taking.

Charles Gibson's interviews with Sarah Palin and Barack Obama. My, what a difference in style! (Updated)

9-12-08

We all know that the liberal media is used to having their way when it comes election time. They say whatever they want and the consumers of the drivel they produce eagerly lap it up as gospel. What has changed this time around is the selection by Republican presidential nominee John McCain of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. American people, for the most part, do not appreciate a bunch of stuffed shirts and extreme left wing hard core feminist skanks slapping around someone that appears to be the epitome of what a wife, mother and leader should be in this country.

The backlash against the media has been striking and they have no clue how to handle it. Some, like the New York Times, continue down the “path of petty” with stupid garbage like this. Other media outlets have quickly changed course, from booting established anchors from their chairs to offering free magazine issues to try and appease their readers and followers.
