The old Texas farmer decided to take a day off and head into town for his annual doctor check up. The long time town doctor had recently retired and a young whippersnapper had taken his place. As the young doctor conducted the examination the topic eventually got around to Barack Obama and his presidential aspirations. “Eh,” the older gentleman grunted, “Obama’s nothing but a post turtle.” The doctor, who had moved to Texas from the Bay Area of California was unfamiliar with this term so he asked the farmer what he meant.

Gwen Ifill the "debate moderator" sounds a lot like Rush Limbaugh the "centrist pundit."

Kinda laughable huh? So it is revealed that Ms. Ifill, the moderator of the vice presidential debate between Republican Sarah Palin and Democrat Joe Biden tomorrow, has a book due to be released on Inauguration Day, January 20th 2009. Yep, the day our new president is sworn into office Ifill’s book, The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama, hits the retail market. Now I’m no Harvard graduate but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that her financial interests in the election outcome is fairly easy to understand. If Democratic nominee Barack Obama wins she probably makes lots of money, he loses maybe not so much forcing her to keep her day job. A day job that just so happens to include writing several lovingly glowing articles in Essence Magazine about….Barack Obama and his charming family. (Here, here and here to name a few) Is it me or does it seems like one great big big circle jerk with these media folks and Obama? I’m wondering if it would have been possible to find a moderator for all these debates that has no ties to Obama or the Democratic party? Don’t the folks on the moderator selection committee vet these people or does the DNC just send over a list for them to choose from? Inquiring minds would just love to know.

Anyone that knows how things work in this country knows how incumbent politicians love hanging around election after election. Once attained, political office seems to grow on people to the point that they never want to leave and booting them out can be quite difficult. Much of the current financial mess this country has been experiencing the last couple of weeks can be traced directly back to several long time politicians who’s faces have sullied our television screens for far too many years and they all have the big D next to their names. We need a change in direction with someone at the helm that will actually get things done rather than worrying about getting re-elected. What we don’t need is someone that directly benefited from the Fannie Mae meltdown, such as Barack Obama.

It was kinda nice bumping into this little love tap from Mark Levin to Bill O’Reilly the other day. As a long time non fan of O’Reilly it is always nice to come across someone else that shares my opinion of this yeahoo. I have no clue what group of people make up his television audience but somehow he has snagged enough TV sets flipping over to his show to post up some rather jumbo viewer numbers. Maybe it’s just a bunch of parents tuning in to show their kids what not to become when they grow up?

Democrats And The MSM, Stop Lying About The Current Financial "Crisis!"

Google owned youtube has been frantically removing videos which show the truth behind what the Democrats have been up to for years claiming this absolutely BOGUS “terms of use” crap. Hopefully these kinds of actions, suppression of the truth to push a left wing political agenda, will open the eyes of many people who have had no idea what was going on in their country.

It’s getting old. The continuous stream of left wing hacks led by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd and Barney Frank et al trotting in front of the TV cameras….and lying their collective asses off concerning this “financial crisis” that was created, fostered and ultimately barfed all over the American citizens by the Democrats. Much of the blame for the misinformation can be laid at the feet of what some people refer to as professional reporters. These people often leave us shaking our heads not for what they asked these pathological fibbers but for what they DIDN’T ask. I’m sure I am joined by a large group of awfully intelligent taxpayers that spend a great deal of time yelling the questions we would like to have thrown at these purveyors of B(ovine) S(catology) helplessly at our high def flat panel Sonys, our pets staring up at us like we have truly lost our marbles.

Barack Obama, no fan of the 2nd amendment, trying to take out our 1st amendment too?

It seems that Barack Obama has been objecting to some advertisements running in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Virgina associating him with William Ayers the unrepentant left wing domestic terrorist involved in several U.S. bombings in the 1960s. He is now a professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Obama and Ayers worked closely together in the 90’s with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and have had a personal relationship over the years. Despite the fact that we know better Obama claims to barely know Ayers, according to Obama “he’s just some guy that lives in the neighborhood.”

Citizens must pay arbitrary unlimited fees to file their registration applications. When submitting these applications they are required to supply photographs, verify their residency in the district and prove their eyesight meets yet more arbitrary standards. They must pass a required written test and submit to mandatory fingerprint card processing. Then they wait. For how long nobody really knows. Perhaps a month maybe more. A year? Not out of the question after all this stuff takes time. They may never hear back because some elected officials in this country think they are above the law and can just kick a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to the curb when it doesn’t suit their agenda.

A recent AP-Yahoo poll seems to spell out what has never really been much of a mystery to Republicans and should be obvious to anyone that has truly paid attention to the issue of race in this country. One-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks, calling them “lazy,” “violent,” and responsible for their own troubles. Here the AP-Yahoo pollsters take a moment to explain how they conducted their poll and the methods they used to do their best to get quantitative information.
