Detroit police dummying up murder stats leading to speculation as to whether they are investigating all killings.

The Detroit Police Department is systematically undercounting homicides, leading to a falsely low murder rate in a city that regularly ranks among the nation’s deadliest, a Detroit News review of police and medical examiner records shows. The police incorrectly reclassified 22 of its 368 slayings last year as “justifiable” and did not report them as homicides to the FBI as required by federal guidelines.

Heads up Hawaii, North Korea is feeling froggy…may launch missile your way in a few weeks.

North Korea may fire a long-range ballistic missile toward Hawaii in early July, a Japanese newspaper said Thursday, amid escalating tensions between the communist country and the United States over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile programs. The missile, believed to be a long-range Taepodong-2 with a range of up to 4,000 miles (6,500 kilometers), would be launched from North Korea’s Dongchang-ni site on the northwestern coast, said the Yomiuri daily, Japan’s top-selling newspaper.

Political correctness continues to run amok in the U.K. Whites stopped and searched merely to balance out the statistics.

Police are making unjustified and ‘almost certainly’ illegal searches of white people to provide ‘racial balance’ to Government figures. Lord Carlile, the independent reviewer of terror laws, said he knew of cases where suspects were stopped by officers even though there was no evidence against them.

PETA Saddened Over Obama Fly Killing

I’m not sure which of these three parties comes off as dumber than the other two, Obama acting like some Barney bad ass for killing Karl Marx who came back to life in a White House appearance as a fly buzzing around his face during yet another ass kissing interview with his fawning, slobbering media pals. The goofy starry eyed giggling response from John Harwood, the CNBC guy getting ready to toss Obama the usual softballs. Or PETA, taking issue with the live on air slaughter of a perfectly innocent “exoskeletal being.”

Comments Following Online News Article Generate Federal Subpoena

A federal grand jury has served a subpoena on the Las Vegas Review Journal requesting the gender, birth date, physical address, telephone number, Internet service provider, IP address and credit card numbers of those people who commented on an May 26 2009 article written about a federal tax fraud and evasion case against area contractor, Robert Kahre.

A trial two years ago featuring some 160 charges ended with no convictions and four acquittals against Kahre and a slew of co-defendants. The jury came back hung on all 109 counts against Kahre so he, his sister and a former assistant are being retried for personal income tax evasion as well as their roles in Kahre’s unique coin based pay system.

Evidently Kahre discovered a chink in the armor of the IRS and was paying his workers with gold and silver coins basing the pay on the market value of the coins. The workers then calculated their income and tax liability based on the face value of the coins instead of the market value in the Federal Reserve system i.e. the value of the coins in U.S. paper dollars.

To the IRS a five dollar bill and a five dollar gold coin are one and the same although the gold coin is actually worth much more than the paper bill. Kahre was using coins which were in everyday circulation, clearly displayed a face value, and were regulated by Congress but somehow nowhere in the IRS’s 67,506 (and counting daily) pages of confusing tax code is it determined how to deal with gold and silver coins when they are used to pay employees or independent contractors. The tax code simply refers to all money used in this country in terms of “dollars.”

The coverage of the Kahre case in the May 26 Review Journal article has generated some 200 comments, the majority of which are critical of the government, IRS, jurors and attorneys in the case. Evidently a few of these comments really stood out and may be the main focus of the subpoena namely one that stated, “The sad thing is there are 12 dummies on the jury who will convict him. They should be hung along with the feds” and another referring to the prosecutor as a “socialist, fascist Mormon” and a “Nazi moron” and one comment which is reported to have now been removed from the site that stated something along the lines that the federal prosecutor wouldn’t see his next birthday.

Obama Violates Inspector General Reform Law He Co-Sponsored

obama_mcaskill - Copy

In case you missed it Barack Obama has fired the Inspector General of the Corporation for National and Community Service, Gerald Walpin. His claimed reason? Supposedly a loss of confidence in Walpin’s ability to do his job.

Well the problem with just up and firing Inspector Generals is that it violates the law. In fact Obama cosponsored the very legislation, The Inspector General Reform Act of 2007 (S. 2324), after it was introduced by his good buddy Claire McCaskill, D-MO along with Susan Collins (RINO-ME), and Joe Lieberman (I-CT), which was intended to make it tougher for a president to get rid of an inspector general for purely political purposes.

In an April 2008 press release McCaskill had this to say about the role and importance of these IGs.

“If we’re not looking for ways to cut down on government waste, we aren’t doing our job here in Congress. This bill is key to preserving the IGs’ role as government watchdogs and making sure they can do their job of rooting out waste in this country.”

Susan Collins added,

“Inspectors General are vital partners in Congress’s effort to identify inefficient, ineffective, and improper government programs. The investigations and reports of IGs throughout the government help Congress shape legislation and oversight activities – improving government performance, providing important transparency into programs, and giving Americans better value for their tax dollar. The Inspector General Reform Act of 2007 would improve the independence and effectiveness of Inspectors General and contribute to better relations among the IGs, the agencies they serve, and the Congress.”

And to wrap it up Joe Lieberman piped in with,

“This bill is good government legislation at its best. It will strengthen the role of inspectors general as an independent investigative force, making sure that taxpayers’ dollars are spent efficiently and effectively while also guaranteeing that IGs themselves be held accountable.”

A gold dispensing vending machine? Get outta here!

Vending machines that dispense bars of gold have been unveiled by a German company keen to sell the precious metal at airports across Europe. TG-Gold-Super-Markt, based near Stuttgart, developed the idea after interest in gold investment increased.

The IRS walks back on taxing work provided cell phones.

The Internal Revenue Service is backing away from proposals to more uniformly enforce a law that taxes personal use of employer-provided cellphones. IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman on Tuesday asked Congress to repeal the 20-year-old law to ensure that neither companies nor workers will be subject to taxes for employees’ personal use of work cellphones. The request is a turnabout from last week, when the IRS proposed measures to improve enforcement of the law, which is now widely ignored by employers and employees.

Over half the kids in this Chicago school won’t be able to move on from the eighth grade this year. Looks like yet another new batch of future Democrat voters on the way.

A startling number of children are falling through the cracks at one Chicago Public School. More than half of the kids didn’t even pass the eighth grade. As CBS 2’s Jim Williams reports there is fierce debate about who’s to blame. It is a debate that has gone on for years in poor communities: do you blame the schools for the students’ poor performance or do you blame their parents?

Gay activists decide to skip out of Democrat party fundraiser saying Obama screwed (well maybe not figuratively) them with his support of the Defense of Marriage act.

Two prominent gay figures, activist David Mixner and widely read blogger Andy Towle, have pulled out of a Democratic National Committee fundraiser later this month amid growing calls to confront the administration at what was supposed to be its first large scale opportunity to bring in gay cash. “I will not attend a fundraiser for the National Democratic Party in Washington next week when the current administration is responsible for these kind of actions,” Mixner wrote of a motion to dismiss a challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act that drew a parallel between same-sex marriage to incestuous marriage.

Obama, desperate to throw a bone to the gay lobby, to give benefits to same sex partners of federal employees.

President Barack Obama, whose gay and lesbian supporters have grown frustrated with his slow movement on their priorities, is extending benefits to same-sex partners of federal employees, a White House official said. Obama planned to announce his decision Wednesday in the Oval Office, the official said. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because Obama had not signed a presidential memorandum putting his plan into place. The decision is a political nod to a reliably Democratic voting bloc that has become impatient with the White House in recent weeks.

Paramedic Who Was Choked By Oklahoma Trooper Wants Officer's Badge Yanked

paramedic_choked - Copy

In a follow up to this posting:

Maurice White Jr., the Creek Nation paramedic involved in a May 24 scuffle with an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper while a patient waited inside the ambulance, has called for the trooper to lose his badge and his gun.

White, with his attorney by his side, said today on the CBS “Early Show” that trooper Daniel Martin “was in a state of rage” when he stopped his ambulance and had total disregard for the well being of the patient being transported to the hospital.

White maintains he got only out of the ambulance to tell the trooper they were taking a patient to the hospital and if there was a problem they could work it out when they got there. As can be seen in the videos posted in this article the argument quickly escalated into a near brawl with Martin eventually putting White in a choke hold. Martin’s attorney says the officer either didn’t hear that there was a patient in the ambulance or it apparently didn’t register with him even though the videos in the article previously linked to clearly reveal he was told several times the ambulance was transporting a patient and at one point Martin even opened the rear door and told the woman inside that she will be on her way soon.

The Barack Obama Church You Have Probably Never Heard Of

This post is offered for historical purposes only because the following information is what we call beyond a freakin’ day late and a damn dollar short.

From the American Thinker website we have an opportunity to delve into some previously unknown Barack Hussein Obama past history that was deliberately and conspiratorially kept from the American people during the previous presidential campaign. Could or would it have made any difference in the election? Hell who knows but one thing is certain, we’ll never get the chance to find out now that he is firmly ensconced in our White House for the next three and a half years.

U.S. Jews Latest Group To Seriously Question Their Support Of Barack Obama

jews_vote_obama - Copy

It appears the U.S. Jewish community, like many other groups of people in this country, have begun to wake up to the fact that the product they ordered when they voted for Barack Obama on November 4, 2008 is a completely different animal than the one that popped out of the package the UPS guy dropped off on January 21, 2009.

Certainly the angst towards Obama exhibited by Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, could not have been assuaged with recent comments offered by the president’s former pastor of 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, who derogatorily proclaimed it was those Jews who were controlling the president when it came to world affairs and were responsible for preventing him from having any opportunity to speak with Obama since his inauguration.

Obama’s stated policies in various speeches since he took up residence in our White House has led the Jewish folks, who voted overwhelmingly for him, to begin to wonder if he has their best interests in mind after all. Recall that Obama immediately promised $900 MILLION in ‘aid’ to the Palestinians, who have elected the terrorist organization Hamas as their leadership party, after the hostilities ceased earlier this year between militants in the Palestinian territory and Israel. Soon after the fighting ended Obama refused to sell Israel Apache attack helicopters over fears they would be used to “threaten” the Palestinians in the future however Obama had no problem providing Egypt with these very same amazing weapons systems when they were requested by that country.

Additionally Obama has recently demanded Israel stop building settlements in the West Bank, a demand that resulted in the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu telling him to go pound sand. Obama has also come out strongly for Israel to pull back on many demands on the Palestinians in his effort to hammer out a two state solution that many see as favoring the Muslims and weakening the the safety and security of the state of Israel.

L.A. Lakers make it 15 championships after beating the Orlando Magic 4 games to one in the NBA finals. Idiotic Laker fans riot.

Hundreds celebrated in the streets outside Staples Center after the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA title win Sunday night, with some revelers damaging police cruisers, throwing rocks and bottles at officers and setting bonfires in the street, authorities said. About 25 people were arrested, most part of a rowdy crowd that split off on to surrounding streets after police declared the gathering an unlawful assembly, officer Karen Rayner said.

Weird stuff from China…ghost brides.

The suspects included a grieving father who allegedly paid his four accomplices around £2,700 pounds to find a female to be his son’s companion in the afterlife.
