NOW Prez O'Neill Claims Tebow Super Bowl Ad "Promotes Violence Against Women." Oddly Mum Over Betty White Commercial

On January 26th Lisa Bennett the Communications Director for the National Organization (for liberal) Women released this urgent call to arms for members to contact CBS and rant like hell over the company’s decision to air an “anti abortion” commercial during yesterday’s Super Bowl game. A game that happened to turn out to be the “most watched TV show ever”:

CBS to Air Anti-Abortion Ad During Super Bowl

Offender: CBS Executives

Media Outlet: CBS

The Offense: During the Feb. 7 telecast of the Super Bowl, CBS will air an anti-abortion commercial produced and paid for by the ultra-conservative group Focus on the Family.

NOW’s Analysis: Focus on the Family has an aggressively anti-abortion, anti-LGBT, anti-woman agenda. [Really NOW gang? Let’s go visit their website to check out this “aggressive anti abortion, anti LGBT and anti woman agenda” shall we? Hmmmm…That’s funny, I couldn’t find this so called agenda anywhere. Where is it NOW gang? …ed] This ad reportedly promotes the decision of one woman to go against her doctor’s advice to terminate an at-risk pregnancy. While NOW would never disparage any woman’s reproductive choice, we believe that all women should be free to make the decision that is right for them. We also believe that this ad could potentially put women’s health and lives at risk by promoting ideology over medicine.

NOW President Terry O’Neil told the Associated Press that the planned ad is “extraordinarily offensive and demeaning.”

“That’s not being respectful of other people’s lives,” O’Neill said. “It is offensive to hold one way out as being a superior way over everybody else’s.”

It’s important to note that the Super Bowl is the most watched television event each year, with a broad audience spanning all demographics. In the past, CBS has turned down other advocacy ads it deemed controversial, including ads from MoveOn.org and the progressive United Church of Christ….read the rest here>>>

This terribly offensive “anti abortion” ad that got the NOW gang all in a twist featured 2007 Heisman Trophy recipient and Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother Pam and, as we now know, was sponsored by the Focus On The Family organization which has this very scary and threatening sounding motto, “Helping Families Thrive.” Evidently this Christian organization’s focus on marriage and parenthood really whips the oh so tolerant liberals into quite an angry rage.

Rumors swirled for weeks that the purpose of this ad was to relate how Mrs. Tebow, who had become ill while pregnant with Tim and living in the Philippines, defied her doctor’s suggestion that she abort her baby because of his fears the effects of the drugs used to treat her illness would cause her fetus to be stillborn and ultimately endanger her life.

The pro abortion folks, including NOW, were fearful of the impact the ad would have on the millions of young women watching the Super Bowl. The message they worried would come across, “don’t kill your baby and maybe he’ll grow up to be a football star!” scared the bejeezes of these people.

In fact Gloria Allred, a lawyer who has never met a television camera she didn’t try and stick her fat face in front of, was threating to sue CBS over the ad claiming it was “misleading” and contained “factual inconsistencies.” Really? How the hell would she know? Like the rest of us, she was absolutely clueless as to the actual content of the commercial!

Ladies and gentlemen, the terribly offensive, threateningly pro life, viciously anti abortion Tebow family Super Bowl ad:

The Green Police…Hilarious!

White House announces televised health meet

President Barack Obama is planning to host a televised meeting with Republican and Democratic congressional leaders on health care reform. The Feb. 25 meeting is an attempt to reach across the aisle but not a signal that the president plans to start over, as Republicans have demanded, a White House official said. (SNIP) In a statement, the official said, “What the president will not do is let this moment slip away. He hopes to have Republican support in doing so — but he is going to move forward on health reform.” [The Democrat plan is a mess and they themselves can’t agree on what to do with this pig that’s why, thankfully, Obama can’t get the thing to his desk. This is such a transparent set up for the Republicans. The GOP has tried for months to get their ideas heard but Democrat Congressional leaders and Obama have simply locked them out of the discussion up to this point. Let Obama and his buddies in Congress try and shove this thing through on their own since the overwhelming majority of Americans DO NOT want ObamaCare…ed]

Real Healthcare Reform: Kill the Lawyers

Now that a stake has been driven through the heart of the omnibus healthcare bill proposed and drafted by the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Axis (with an assist from Henry Waxman), we can get down to real reform. The President has stated that he wants to work with Republicans. Then let’s start with the most obvious cost control factor – malpractice/tort reform. There is some truth to Democratic claims that several of the proposed reforms are interlocking and thus to address one specific issue might be difficult to accomplish. However, this in no way justifies their ridiculous proposal, including its huge growth in the federal government and its invasive government panels. Unfortunately, the Democrats ignored the biggest opportunity for cost reduction: eliminating spurious lawsuits and getting ambulance-chasing lawyers out of the medical malpractice business. It is also clear that this reform is not interdependent on other reforms. [Step one…ed]

75% Are Angry At Government’s Current Policies

Voters are madder than ever at the current policies of the federal government. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 75% of likely voters now say they are at least somewhat angry at the government’s current policies, up four points from late November and up nine points since September. The overall figures include 45% who are Very Angry, also a nine-point increase since September. [The other 25% work FOR the government…ed]

Obama Hits Lowest Approval Mark

Independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin, according to a new Marist College survey, while almost half of voters say he has failed to meet their expectations. The poll, conducted Feb. 1-3, showed just 44% of registered voters approving of Obama’s job as president. 47% disapprove. But among indie voters, Obama’s approval rating sits at a terrible 29%, while his disapproval rating is at 57%. Obama’s 44% job approval rating is the lowest he has scored in any non-internet poll since moving into the WH, according to a review of data compiled by Pollster.com. [Maybe he should just quit and turn this gig over to someone who knows what the hell they’re doing…ed]

President Obama the scold

For a president who ran on uplifting themes like change and hope, Barack Obama spends an awful lot of time scolding Americans about how he hopes they’ll change. He has advised parents to “replace that video game with a book and make sure that homework gets done.” He has urged members of Congress not to read blogs or watch 24-hour cable news. And he’s challenged lobbyists, lawmakers, bankers, journalists, insurance companies and other heads of state to do a better job. He’s prodded people to get off the couch, eat healthier and exercise more. He’s even suggested Americans buy stocks, U.S.-made cars and energy-efficient light bulbs, while cautioning them not to max out their credit cards. [This country didn’t hire a nagger-in-chief or a king 15 months ago, we hired a president. A president who answers to the people not the other way around. It’s time for this arrogant man to shut his damn pie hole and open those big ass ears of his and listen to US about how we want OUR country governed…ed]

But He Was the Harvard Law Review Editor!

The chattering class was entranced with candidate Barack Obama. So literate. So polished. So cool. We were assured that his lack of executive experience was irrelevant. After all, he ran a campaign. And then there were his years as a community organizer and Harvard Law Review editor, which showed… well… it showed something about his magnificent intellectual skills. But it turns out he lacks some key abilities — executive leadership, decisiveness, deal-making prowess, flexibility, and basic people skills — that are essential to a successful presidency. (SNIP) His floundering is not surprising, considering that Obama never ran a state, a city, or a business, and during his brief time in the U.S. Senate, he was never front-and-center in any significant legislative undertaking. Yes, he’s touted as an author, and he won the presidency (beating two flawed candidates who ran awful campaigns). But it turns out that all this was insufficient preparation to be chief executive and commander in chief. [Obama, all hat no cattle. Not a SINGLE review written as president of the Harvard Law Review. No executive experience whatsoever. No business experience whatsoever. Everyone knows he has gotten through life based strictly on skin color. He is the most unaccomplished man to ever occupy our Oval Office by a long shot…ed]

Keith Olbermann, Your Stupid Show Really Does Suck. Deal With It

Something tells me the delusional Keith Olbermann has been spending way too much time hanging around the White House lunching with the fibber-in-chief.

Now why would I say that?

Well let’s follow along as he shows everyone just how much he has learned from the best as he demonstrates his complete detachment from reality and tries to convince his ever shrinking audience, and of course those “evil right wingers,” that his moronic show on basement rated Obama administration mouthpiece msnbc isn’t about to be scrapped and is actually growing these days!

WHOA!! His viewership rate actually GREW last month by a whooping 5-6%! That outta get the advertisers and the Obama administration all fired up!

Olbermann consistently draws less than a quarter of the viewers of the top rated Bill O’Reilly show on Fox News in the prime time 8pm slot and it barely gets better when he is up against Greta Van Susteren on Fox at 10pm.

Moving on, Olbermann brags about his astonishing ratings growth over the previous 30 day period but let’s take a look at the bigger picture, as in the last 12 months, shall we:

As we can clearly see in the crucial 25-54 age demographic Olbermann’s idiotic Countdown show’s numbers have suffered a severe mugging over the last year to the tune of nearly 52%!

His total viewership has tanked by almost 38%!

The only show Olbermann beats in his 8pm and 10pm time slots belongs to Nancy Grace on CNN’s Headline News channel. Nancy Grace!

Hmmm, but this guy is grinning about a tiny little ratings bump over the last month which is no doubt due largely to his desperate attempt to get his name in the news by launching mean spirited out of control rants against the new U.S. Senator Scott Brown.

Even his good buddy and fellow left wing nutjob Jon Stewart had some problems with Olbermann becoming completely unhinged over the usually reliable Democrat voters of Massachusetts electing a Republican to the U.S. Senate.

Gotta wonder what kind of lunacy this hard core leftist loon will come up with next in his attempt to keep his stupid useless msnbc show on the air….

FBI wants records kept of Web sites visited

The FBI is pressing Internet service providers to record which Web sites customers visit and retain those logs for two years, a requirement that law enforcement believes could help it in investigations of child pornography and other serious crimes. FBI Director Robert Mueller supports storing Internet users’ “origin and destination information,” a bureau attorney said at a federal task force meeting on Thursday. As far back as a 2006 speech, Mueller had called for data retention on the part of Internet providers, and emphasized the point two years later when explicitly asking Congress to enact a law making it mandatory. But it had not been clear before that the FBI was asking companies to begin to keep logs of what Web sites are visited, which few if any currently do. [Understand the government wants to force your ISP to record and store every website you visit from now on, forever, whether you are suspected of a crime or not. This is insanity and a blatant violation of the fourth amendment. The whole idea of our Constitution is to LIMIT the power of government over the people not “grant” us the rights the government thinks we can be trusted with…ed]

Cohen’s rap sheet stuns Illinois Dems

On the same day Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn officially claimed the Democratic gubernatorial nomination, he found out that his newly-minted running mate has a rap sheet that includes alleged domestic battery and tax evasion. The revelation has shocked Democrats, leading to worries that his presence could taint the entire statewide ticket. According to court records obtained by the Chicago Tribune, Scott Lee Cohen, a millionaire pawnbroker who prevailed with a narrow plurality in the crowded primary for lieutenant governor, was accused by his ex-girlfriend, a prostitute, of holding a knife to her neck in a 2005 domestic dispute. [Democrats sure don’t vet their politicians coming out of Illinois very well do they?…ed]

How Obama got Keynes wrong

The Obama White House likes to say that the theories of John Maynard Keynes form the foundation for its fiscal policies. Most notably, it draws upon the legendary British economist’s idea of spending big to pull out of a recession. But one economist says the administration has gotten Keynes only half right. (SNIP) While the Obama team is laying out huge sums of money, Meltzer says it’s neglecting a key part of Keynes’ plan: You can’t run up a debt without a way to cover it. [Great read. You see Obama and his gang THOUGHT they would be able to cover their huge spending sprees via the immediate revenue streams from the cap and tax and ObamaCare legislation, both of which have now collapsed. The American people figured out what was really going on with these two Democrat created plans which was to raise taxes in the name of “going green” and “universal healthcare.” Both of these bills would have begun collecting taxes almost immediately after being signed into law while most of the supposed benefits wouldn’t kick in for years…ed]

The great global warming collapse

In 2007, the most comprehensive report to date on global warming, issued by the respected United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, made a shocking claim: The Himalayan glaciers could melt away as soon as 2035. These glaciers provide the headwaters for Asia’s nine largest rivers and lifelines for the more than one billion people who live downstream. Melting ice and snow would create mass flooding, followed by mass drought. The glacier story was reported around the world. (SNIP) But the claim was rubbish, and the world’s top glaciologists knew it. It was based not on rigorously peer-reviewed science but on an anecdotal report by the WWF itself. When its background came to light on the eve of Copenhagen, Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the IPCC, shrugged it off. But now, even leading scientists and environmental groups admit the IPCC is facing a crisis of credibility that makes the Climategate affair look like small change. “The global warming movement as we have known it is dead,” the brilliant analyst Walter Russell Mead says in his blog on The American Interest. It was done in by a combination of bad science and bad politics. [And there went Obama’s revenue stream down the drain. Roto-Rooter…ed]

India forms new climate change body

The Indian government has established its own body to monitor the effects of global warming because it “cannot rely” on the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the group headed by its own leading scientist Dr R.K Pachauri. The move is a significant snub to both the IPCC and Dr Pachauri as he battles to defend his reputation following the revelation that his most recent climate change report included false claims that most of the Himalayan glaciers would melt away by 2035. Scientists believe it could take more than 300 years for the glaciers to disappear. The body and its chairman have faced growing criticism ever since as questions have been raised on the credibility of their work and the rigour with which climate change claims are assessed. [India’s economy is booming and they aren’t about to get roped into any binding global warming rules imposed on their country based on all the bogus climate science exposed over the last few months. Smart move…ed]

Interior Department bureaucrats bury 2-1 public support for more off-shore drilling in comments on proposed rule

Remember the “Drill More, Drill Now” flap in the summer of 2007 over the expiration of legislative and executive branch bans on off-shore drilling for oil in the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf (OCS)? Gas was selling at $4 and more per gallon across the country and big majorities of the public were demanding that the government get out of the way of producing more energy supplies from America’s vast untapped domestic natural resources like the OCS. (SNIP) But the Obama administration opposes allowing more drilling in the OCS, or anywhere else in America, according to many critics in the energy industry, so the delay in moving the proposed rule forward creates a substantial political problem for Salazar and the White House. [Need more proof Obama and his administration could care less about what the American people have to say about how they want their government to function?…ed]

The Perfect Video To Commemorate Tea Party Convention In Tennessee

NASHVILLE, TN – Fox News has learned Tea Party convention organizers plan a big news conference here Friday to propose the closest thing yet to a national organizing strategy for the upcoming 2010 midterm elections. The first ever Tea Party Convention has attracted a sellout crowd of a thousand activists from as far away as Hawaii (and media from as far away as Japan) to the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center.

Volunteers here intend to propose a series of broad “First Principles” which have already been generally embraced by most Tea Party chapters around the country. They include: fiscal responsibility, upholding the constitution, and national security. Prospective political candidates will be expected to support the Republican National Committee platform, though without any specific litmus or purity test.

If a particular candidate meets the proposed Tea Party criteria he or she would be eligible for fundraising and grassroots Tea Party support. Once elected to office, members would be required to join a Congressional Tea Party Caucus, attend regular meetings and be held accountable for the votes they cast. Those who stray from the Tea Party path would risk losing it’s support and a likely re-election challenge….[read the rest here>>>]

Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) Takes To The Senate Floor To Emotionally Defend Her Infamous Louisiana Purchase Sellout

Wow folks, what is up with Democrats these days? Talk about grumpy!

Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA), along with Ben “Cornhusker Kickback” Nelson, was one of the last remaining holdouts when Senate Leader Harry Reid was pulling every funny bunny and funky handkerchief out of his magician’s hat trying to get all 60 Democrat Senators on board the ObamaCare freight train back in December.

She had been claiming one of her main beefs with the Senate version of the bill was the “public option,” more accurately described as the “government option,” but lotsa folks think what she was really holding out for was a fabulous financial deal in order to gain some political points back home since she is up for reelection this year.

Reid eventually capitulated to her and Nelson’s big money demands doling out hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to secure their votes and finally gain passage of the nearly $900,000,000,000 Senate version of ObamaCare on a strict 60-39 party line vote.

Here we have the emotionally fragile Senator trying to defend her decision to vote for the ObamaCare bill, in exchange for what many have referred to as a three hundred million dollar “bribe,” on the Senate floor ending her screwy little diatribe with a firm suggestion to Republicans to put an end to any further criticisms of her deal and basically just shut the hell up.

Hey Pelosi, I Believe They Were Referred To As "Negros" And "Colored People"—Back Then

Boy I’ll tell ya, the insidious politically correct atmosphere in this country is so delicate that if you are a Republican you really have to be careful you don’t trip over your tongue and say something stupid regarding anything related to race within range of a camera lest it wind up on youtube and then naturally all over msnbc, cnn, daily kos and the huffy post for a week and a half.

That said, if you happen to be a San Fransisco uber liberal, third in line to the presidency and Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, it’s okay to bumble and stumble when trying to recall the term that was in vogue at the time of Franklin Roosevelt’s demise when referring to black folks in this country.

Normally, most people couldn’t care less about relatively benign stuff like this but after years of watching Republicans get raked over the coals for the most minor of verbal, supposedly racial, “gaffes” conservatives have pretty much had it with the hypocrisy in the media and from the left when one of their own steps knee deep in it.

Mayor upset by questions about criticism of Obama

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman’s critical remarks about President Barack Obama drew heat from Las Vegas residents Thursday night and prompted the mayor to storm out of a meeting. “I’m not going to be called a racist,” Goodman said on his way out of the Doolittle Community Center, on J Street south of Lake Mead Boulevard. When a reporter asked him what had happened, Goodman said, “I’m not going to tell you. Find out in there.” People at the meeting in the city’s historically black community of West Las Vegas said Goodman was criticized for saying he wouldn’t welcome the president during an upcoming visit. Goodman’s comments this week were triggered by Obama’s remark that people saving money for college shouldn’t waste it in Las Vegas. The criticisms of the mayor included racially loaded accusations. [Judging by the comments after the article I would say the majority of the thinking people in Las Vegas are happy the mayor expressed his displeasure with Obama’s urging people not to visit the city. Unemployment Rate in U.S. Declined to 9.7% in January

The unemployment rate in the U.S. unexpectedly declined in January to 9.7 percent, the lowest level since August, while payrolls dropped as companies boosted worker hours and overtime instead of taking on new hires. Employment fell by 20,000 last month, reflecting a plunge in construction jobs and a drop in state and local government hiring, figures from the Labor Department in Washington showed. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg News forecast a gain. Manufacturing employment, factory hours and overtime increased. [20,000 jobs lost last month with no rise in new employment and the rate drops 3/10th? Bleak Unemployment Assumptions in Obama Budget

President Obama doesn’t think unemployment within the next decade will return to the relatively low level it was in 2007 when he launched his presidential campaign, at least according to supplemental documents to his Fiscal Year 2011 budget. Whether you consider the president’s assumptions about unemployment bleak or realistic, they will likely not come as welcome news to the millions of unemployed and underemployed – or to Democrats hoping to win elections in the next decade. In the supplemental volume “Analytical Perspectives,” the Obama administration estimates that the annual average rate of unemployment will remain at 10% for 2010, and dip only slightly next year, in 2011, to 9.2%. [The private sector is taking the brunt of the unemployment beating while the federal government is bringing new hires on board like hell won’t have it, a situation that the majority of the American people would rather not see happen…ed]

Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ announcement that 470,000 people abandoned their job searches in July and that 3.2 million private sector jobs have been lost since President Bush took office: “The fact is that President Bush’s misguided economic policies have failed to create jobs. Since President Bush took office, the country has lost 3.2 million jobs, the worst record since President Hoover. And today we learned that in July nearly half a million people gave up looking for a job. “Job losses are taking a real toll on the financial security of American families. While Democrats are fighting for opportunity, jobs, and economic security for working families, Republicans continue to focus on helping those who need help the least. “According to today’s survey, while the national unemployment rate dropped slightly, it still stands at a near record high. In addition, the unemployment rate for African Americans was still over 11 percent in July, and the unemployment rate for Hispanics was 8.2 percent in July. “It is time for President Bush and the Republicans to get to work for all Americans, not just the elite few.” [Now you really didn’t think the old hag was going to go after OBAMA for the 4 million jobs that have been lost since he took office a year ago or take responsibility for the 7 million that have vanished since she because Speaker of the House now did ya? Calif. turbines frozen in Minn. wind

Like a lot of California transplants, 11 newcomers to Minnesota are having a hard time adjusting to our winters. They are wind turbines, erected last fall by 11 metro and outstate cities. The green-energy machines were expected to be spinning before Christmas, but so far their blades have been largely motionless, apparently paralyzed by frigid weather. The turbines sit idly in Anoka, North St. Paul, Chaska, Shakopee, Buffalo and six other cities, all members of the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (MMPA). The refurbished, 115-foot towers had operated on a California wind farm, where they didn’t have to worry about cold hydraulic fluid turning to gel and oil lubricants getting too sluggish. [While the rest of the civilized world is building highly efficient nuclear power plants to provide their citizens with plenty of inexpensive “clean” energy, because of a small cadre of enviro whackos, we’re dickin’ around with these God awful windmills that make a horrid, many people say unbearable, noise when they DO work…ed]

Utilities seek long-term green deals

For the first time, the state’s major power companies will make long-term commitments to buy green energy like wind and solar power. The four investor-owned utilities in Massachusetts – National Grid, NStar, Western Massachusetts Electric Co., and Unitil Corp. – are soliciting bids from producers of energy from renewable resources. (SNIP) Since electricity generated from renewable sources is often more expensive than power from fossil fuels, utility officials say more clean energy will mean bigger bills for Massachusetts consumers, who already pay some of the nation’s highest electricity prices. Power Problems Stall Teen Sailor in Mexico

It’s not often you hear this in the middle of winter: “The bad news… I’m headed to Cabo san Lucas…” That was the entry Saturday in Abby Sunderland’s blog. The 16-year-old Thousand Oaks girl is attempting to sail around the world, but the voyage took a detour. Abby had to stop in Cabo San Lucas during the weekend because of a power problem aboard her yacht, “Wild Eyes.” On her blog Saturday, Sunderland wrote that she plans to stop on the tip of the Baja peninsula for a “new battery or two.” She wrote that the yacht’s solar panels and wind generators are not supplying enough power. The Ruse Unravels

Not long ago, we were pestered almost daily with another global warming scare. But the weather has changed. Now, it seems, each sunrise comes with fresh evidence that the scare is a fraud. The latest setback for global warm-mongers is a probe conducted by the British Guardian newspaper, which discovered a prominent climate scientist “sought to hide problems in key temperature data on which some of his work was based.” The Guardian, which has a history of pumping the global warming scare, looked over the leaked e-mail exchanges from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and “found evidence that a series of measurements from Chinese weather stations were seriously flawed and that documents relating to them could not be produced.” At the center is the familiar Phil Jones, the CRU director who’s been temporarily relieved of his duties. He and the University at Albany’s Wei-Chyung Wang, named as a collaborator by the Guardian, are accused of making “apparent attempts to cover up problems with temperature data from the Chinese weather stations.” [Thousands of scientists knew this climate change/global warming fraud was nothing more than left wing propaganda but they have been effectively threatened and silenced by governments and media around the world. Sea level blunder enrages Dutch minister

A United Nations report wrongly claimed that more than half of the Netherlands is currently below sea level. In fact, just 20 percent of the country consists of polders that are pumped dry, and which are at risk of flooding if global warming causes rising sea levels. Dutch Environment Minister Jacqueline Cramer has ordered a thorough investigation into the quality of the climate reports which she uses to base her policies on. Climate-sceptic MPs were quick to react. Conservative MP Helma Neppérus and Richard de Mos from the right-wing Freedom Party want the minister to explain to parliament how these figures were used to decide on national climate policy. “This may invalidate all claims that the last decades were the hottest ever,” Mr De Mos said. (SNIP) The discovery comes just a week after a prediction about glaciers in the Himalayas proved wrong. Rather than disappearing by 2035, as IPCC reports claim, the original research underlying the report predicted the mountain ice would last until 2350. [How many more of these “errors” or more accurately deliberate lies from the U.N. and these so called climate scientists with an obvious agenda are people going to put up with before they say enough and toss this phony global warming nonsense into the round file?…ed]
