Illegal Aliens Lawfully Receiving Millions In Welfare Payments Using Their Anchor Baby's Name

Section One of the fourteenth amendment of our United States Constitution reads:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The original intent of this section of our fourteenth amendment, which was ratified in 1868 after the end of the “Civil War,” was to ensure that newly freed slaves who were born in this country would indeed be considered to be and have all the rights of United States citizens. It was NOT intended to ensure that someday anyone could sneak into our country illegally and subsequently give birth to their child on our soil at our expense then be able to utilize that particular circumstance to take advantage of our far too indiscriminating welfare system.

Unfortunately for America a Democrat Party dominated Congress in 1965 basically threw open the doors to our country and in the process perverted the intent of our Constitution, yet again, when they rammed through what became known as the Immigration and Nationality Act which allowed an unlimited number of “family reunification visas,” better known as the anchor baby free ride, and we’ve all been paying for it dearly ever since.

“Now I just have to not eat until then,” he joked, standing with his wife on the sidewalk outside the state office on Flamingo Road.

Silva has been without a steady job for a year, one of tens of thousands of workers still reeling from the bottom dropping out of the Las Vegas Valley’s construction industry, the region’s second-largest employer after tourism.

If approved for assistance, the Silvas will belong to the fastest-growing category of families in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. Bearing the confusing government label of “non-qualified non-citizens,” this category refers to families with parents who are not U.S. citizens and children who are.

Since the recession began in late 2007, the average monthly caseload of these families has grown 96 percent, according to state records. About 4,250 of these families of mixed immigration status were on the program’s rolls in September, making it the second-largest category in TANF, after single-parent households.

It is also the only category in the program where parents apply in their children’s name, as opposed to applying in their own. TANF gives monthly checks to the families based on income and the children’s status as citizens and does not require parents to demonstrate that they are in the United States legally……

For Nevadians, the number of illegal aliens who have swarmed that state and are receiving welfare benefits is quickly becoming an unbearable and overwhelming burden. By the way Nevada, California offers a belated “welcome to the club.”

In addition to the taxpayers of Nevada subsidizing these welfare payments the entire country is holding the bag for an estimated five million FRAUDULENT MORTGAGES held by illegal aliens. Naturally I can’t help but join millions of other Americans wondering which political party could possibly be behind illegal aliens acquiring fraudulent mortgages in our country.–One of the states hardest hit by the nation’s dire financial crisis annually spends hundreds of millions of dollars to educate, incarcerate and medically treat its rapidly growing illegal immigrant population.

Each year taxpayers in Nevada, the country’s fastest growing state, spend a whopping $630 million to provide illegal aliens with public services that should be reserved for legal U.S. residents. The burden has taken such a toll that the desperate state legislature passed several measures to help curb illegal immigration.

Among them are laws addressing human smuggling and drivers licenses. Additionally, local police departments in municipalities with especially high illegal alien populations—such as Las Vegas—have entered into federal partnerships to enforce immigration law.

But the damage has been done in a once prosperous state that for nearly two years has had the nation’s highest home foreclosure rate. Around 5 million fraudulent mortgages nationwide are in the hands of illegal aliens, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and its no secret that a substantial chunk of them are in Nevada. Illegal immigrants are draining the state in other ways too…..

    I don’t think illegal immigrants should get welfare because there kidd are citizens .i think they should pass a law that any immigrant have a baby in the us there baby and mother need to go back to there state they need to take citizen ship from the babys or kids its not fare for us paying our taxes and they get to live here with free government money
