Are you among the millions of Americans who are not all that jazzed about the prospect of the government taking over your healthcare?
Do you happen to discuss your feelings about the topic on internet websites, via email or through casual conversation with your co-workers, with your friends, your relatives and perhaps your neighbors?
Well you happen to be one of the folks that the Obama administration wants others to tell them about according to a memo posted on the White House website since discussion about the issues by the citizens in this country is now frowned upon by the crew from Chicago who have infested our White House.

Facts Are Stubborn Things
Posted by Macon Phillips
Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, “facts are stubborn things.”
Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to “uncover” the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.
In this video, Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, addresses one example that makes it look like the President intends to “eliminate” private coverage, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth.
For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry.
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Disinformation floating around the internet huh? Well it seems this video from Naked Emperor News.com, in which Obama clearly explains his views about wanting single payer government run healthcare for every American in the country, was the catalyst for the request by the administration for their Obots to spring into action and begin flooding the White House email system with examples of concerned Americans voicing their displeasure over their government running slipshod over them every time they turn around.
Here’s Barack Obama again in his own words at an AFL-CIO union event in 2003.
“…and that’s what Jim’s talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out. A single payer healthcare plan, a universal healthcare plan. That’s what I would like to see. But as all of you know we may not get there immediately because first we got to take back the White House and we’ve got to take back the Senate and we’ve gotta take back the House.”
The American people aren’t stupid. They’ve heard what’s in the bills and they don’t like it and that’s why all hell has been breaking loose at so many of these “townhall” meetings Democrat politicians are hosting around the country. They are also well aware of the extensive fraud and abuse in existing government healthcare programs.
In the first video a man explains his frustration over Congressmen not bothering to read proposed legislation that is being written which will affect all of our lives and why that makes so many Americans leery about trusting or believing anything that comes out of the mouths of these political hacks or the lackeys trotted out to speak for the Obama administration. In the third video the incredibly clueless Democrat Congressman Tim Bishop explains to the audience that “The central purpose of the Constitution is to provide for the common good.” How’s that for showing just how far out of touch these pompous clowns are with the American people?
A Rasmussen report from yesterday shows nearly 50% of Americans feel our private healthcare system is good or excellent while only 19% say it sucks and 80% of those with private health care coverage rate it as good or excellent. Only 28% of the people in this country are willing to have their taxes raised to provide government run healthcare for everybody while 60% say hell no to that plan. 74% of the citizens rate the quality of the health care they receive as good or excellent while just NINE PERCENT rate it as poor.
While Rasmussen polling does show that 47% of voters favor a health care reform plan 49% are opposed. However only 25% are strongly in favor of the legislation while 41% are strongly opposed.
Not a single one of these proposed health care plans coming out of Congress addresses one of the main reasons health care costs have gone through the roof and that is tort reform. In fact during a little pow-wow with the American Medical Association Obama specifically said he has absolutely no interest in looking into capping malpractice awards or lawsuits which are the driving force behind expensive preventative tests and medical procedures ordered up by doctors to cover their asses in the event they get sued.
A 2002 report (you will want to read this) from the office of Health and Human Services clearly stated that fixing the medical liability system in this country is the KEY to improving the quality and reducing the cost of medical care and Congress and the Obama administration know it.
Americans spend proportionately far more per person on the costs of litigation than any other country in the world. The excesses of the litigation system are an important contributor to “defensive medicine”–the costly use of medical treatments by a doctor for the purpose of avoiding litigation. As multimillion-dollar jury awards have become more commonplace in recent years, these problems have reached crisis proportions. Insurance premiums for malpractice are increasing at a rapid rate, particularly in states that have not taken steps to make their legal systems function more predictably and effectively. Doctors are facing much higher costs of insurance, and some cannot obtain insurance despite having never lost a single malpractice judgment or even faced a claim.
This is a threat to health care quality for all Americans. Increasingly, Americans are at risk of not being able to find a doctor when they most need one because the doctor has given up practice, limited the practice to patients without health conditions that would increase the litigation risk, or moved to a state with a fairer legal system where insurance can be obtained at a lower price.
This broken system of litigation is also raising the cost of health care that all Americans pay, through out-of-pocket payments, insurance premiums, and federal taxes. Excessive litigation is impeding efforts to improve quality of care. Hospitals, doctors, and nurses are reluctant to report problems and participate in joint efforts to improve care because they fear being dragged into lawsuits, even if they did nothing wrong.
Increasingly extreme judgments in a small proportion of cases and the settlements they influence are driving this litigation crisis. At the same time, most injured patients receive no compensation. Some states have already taken action to squeeze the excesses out of the litigation system. But federal action, in conjunction with further action by states, is essential to help Americans get high-quality care when they need it, at a more affordable cost.
There is a reason why Obama is trying to shove this government healthcare takeover down the throats of American citizens and it has nothing to do with saving money or “kickstarting our economy.” That’s nothing but a bunch of focus group generated malarkey.
It has to do with having even more control over each of us which, frankly, is a wet dream for every left wing politician. It has to do with people employed within the federal government who may not be qualified for the job but meet all of the left wing requirements of being a certain sex or race or disability having access to our personal medical records and background information which as Joe the Plumber found out sure can come in handy at times when circumstances are “warranted.” It has to do with a Federal National ID card system, something the government has been trying to establish for years, being implemented under the guise of “free” health care. It has to do with with one of Obama’s favorite pet causes which is spreading the wealth around, taking from those who work hard for what they have and giving it to those who don’t but feel entitled anyway and of course vote reliably for the political party who has been giving them the handouts for decades.
Additionally many Americans have figured out that a government run health care system would be a terrific way to deal with the largest ponzi scheme ever created by man, Social Security. You see if the government has the ability to dictate whether or not people receive life saving medical care and the poor souls happen to wind up kicking the bucket then anything left in their Social Security “account” will not have to be paid out by the government over the say 30 years or so had the individual managed to stay alive. It should also be mentioned the government would have a much quicker path to someone’s wealth via the estate or “death” tax if they happened to expire at a younger age than may be expected under our current healthcare system.
Yes folks there is much more to this Democrat government takeover of the health care system in this country than meets the eye of the casual observer but there are millions who are paying attention and this is what is making the administration most unhappy. Sadly however they have chosen to to try and intimidate anyone who does not just stop drop and roll over by siccing the mind numbed blind followers of “The Won” on those who are simply not going to go along with the program.
So to all the Obots and to you Mr. Obama I offer in the screeching words of your esteemed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the mother of the original crash and burn universal healthcare plan:
