Harley Davidson Dealer Forced To Remove Message—America Is Not A Muslim Country

A New York Harley Davidson motorcycle dealer, who enjoys posting his political opinions on his dealership message sign whenever he is unhappy with whatever the sitting president happens to be doing or saying at the time, ran into some serious push back from the parent company over his latest offering to the public.

It seems Erik Dunk the owner of the Iron Block Harley Davidson franchise in Adams Center NY took umbrage, as did millions of other Americans, to Barack Hussein Obama’s recent comments that our country does not necessarily consider itself a Christian nation and that the U.S. is one of the largest Muslim countries on the planet. Both statements are not only completely inaccurate but reinforce what many have been saying about Obama’s true loyalties from the moment he became a serious candidate for president. This is precisely why the framers of our Constitution were so concerned about candidates for president being natural (NOT merely NATIVE) born citizens of the United States. A requirement Obama could not and cannot have ever hoped to have met.

The message Dunk offered up for public consumption on his company sign went like this:

“Obama are you kidding? We’re not Muslim. You are not Christian.”

So exactly what was it in the message that caused some whiny little nitwit to contact the Harley Davidson headquarters and cry like a newborn baby? Was it the ‘M’ word? Could it have been because Dunk nailed it when he said Obama isn’t a Christian? The fact of the matter is I see absolutely nothing inaccurate in his message whatsoever so the complainer surely could not have been upset about anything along those lines…could they?

Whatever beef the ninny had it was enough for the big dogs to give Dunk a ring and tell him to immediately cease and desist with the Muslim/Christian stuff and they also dropped a stern reminder about that pesky clause in the franchise agreement concerning religious and political messages being displayed on company property, can’t do it and that’s just the way it is. Hey you can’t blame a guy for giving it his best shot now can ya?

From the news10now.com site,

“I’m not going to stop what I believe,” Iron Block Harley Davidson Owner Erik Dunk said.

Wednesday, the electronic sign out in front of the Iron Block Harley Davidson in Adams Center read this: “Obama are you kidding? We’re not Muslim. You are not Christian.” It was all in reference to comments President Obama made last week. Obama had said, “If you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”

Thursday, it simply said the time and listed a couple of upcoming events.

Shop owner Erik Dunk says Harley Davidson got involved after a motorist complaint and told him they wanted him to remove it.

“I have put things that I felt were incorrect that President Bush did with no problem. I’ve had a number of things up I felt President Obama did that were beyond the scope of our constitution that were improper that got no response. As soon as I put the ‘M’ (muslim) word up, that’s when things started to really boil,” Dunk said.
