El Monte CA Officer Force Feeds Gang Banger Some Serious Boot Leather

Unfortunately for this cop his inability to control himself will no doubt result in this dirtbag with the sore face coming into more money than he ever could have earned legally in his lifetime when the lawsuit is settled.

In addition there is little doubt this high fivin’ officer will wind up with some unpaid vacation time and will probably be forced to attend a bunch of sensitivity training classes on how to gently and compassionately deal with gang bangers once they have surrendered.

Make no mistake, these idiots that run from the police and put many innocent lives in danger are one of my top line pet peeves and seeing these morons getting seriously hurt when they get caught then choose to fight the police is truly something beautiful to behold. The problems arise once the actor gives it up flat on the ground with arms outstretched and a kick to the face by a law enforcement officer cannot be justified and I think most people in the business would agree.

From nbclosangeles.com,

Despite lying on the ground with his arms and legs spread, a suspect — who police say is a known gang member — got a face full of police boot on Wednesday.

The kicking cop added insult to injury by giving a post-beating high five.

“I’m looking into it, and I don’t have all the facts yet,” said El Monte Police Chief Tom Armstrong, who watched the video in a KNBC-TV newsvan.

“I worked internal affairs for four years and I have learned that you do not make a decision in a vacuum,” Armstrong said. “I do not know what was in the mind of that officer, as to why he did that. I saw the individual turn his head toward the officer.”

As for the officer with a flashlight seen striking the suspect in the video, Armstrong said, “…it appears (the suspect) had his arm underneath his body. You cannot see what was in his hand.”

“This is going to be looked into, and it should be. …I’m not here to make a decision or tell you what that officer did was overtly wrong until I know all the facts,” Armstrong said.

Lt. Chuck Carlson of the El Monte Police Department said the department’s Internal Affairs Unit will investigate to see if excessive force was used.

“There were some phone calls from some citizens. One of the news copters had video they thought showed excessive force,” Carlson said.

Well I think it is pretty clear what happened here and the city’s liability insurance company executives are probably cringing about right now thinking of all the money they will have to pay out to this worthless pile of tattooed human debris for this officer’s ill advised “Red Wing” moment
