Obama Orders Missile Strikes In Pakistan Killing 22 People, Reportedly Women And Children Among Them

In an effort to appease all of the anti-war protesters that helped vote him into office (sarcasm intended) Mr. Obama ordered Predator missile strikes into tribal regions of Pakistan along the Afghanistan border last Friday killing “at least 22 people” many reported to be women and children.

Barack Obama gave the go-ahead for his first military action yesterday, missile strikes against suspected militants in Pakistan which killed at least 18 people.

Four days after assuming the presidency, he was consulted by US commanders before they launched the two attacks. Although Obama has abandoned many of the “war on terror” policies of George Bush while he was president, he is not retreating from the hunt for Osama bin Laden and other al-Qaida leaders.

(gee, nice cover for Obama from the journalist huh? Seems Mr. Obama gets to have it BOTH ways…)

In addition it was reported that a separate raid by American military personnel in Afghanistan “killed 16 civilians” prompting condemnation from Afghan president, Hamid Karzai.

On Sunday, the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, condemned a separate US operation within Afghanistan that he said killed 16 Afghan civilians, prompting hundreds of villagers to demonstrate against the American military.

The US said the raid, on Saturday in Laghman province, killed 15 armed militants, including a woman with an RPG. But Afghan officials said they killed civilians, including two women and three children. In Laghman’s capital, hundreds of protesters demanded an end to overnight raids.

Karzai warned the killing of innocent Afghans during US military operations “is strengthening the terrorists”. He also announced that his government had sent Washington a draft agreement that seeks to give Afghanistan more oversight over US military operations. The document has also been sent to Nato headquarters.

Mr. Obama, a well known and long time military strategist, (sarcasm intended) has claimed that the previous administration had it all wrong when they decided to take military action against Saddam Hussein and Iraq saying we should have been in Afghanistan from the outset in our “war on terror.”

Now I would like to know what the hell is going on here? The lack of outrage from all these anti-war protester groups to these actions is stunning and their silence is deafening! They had all weekend to get out there and march and protest and carry on in front of the fawning lamestream media and their cameras just like they used to do when Bush was calling the shots!

Where are the CodePink useful idiots like the one shown here harassing former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and will they pull similar stunts on Hillary Clinton?

Where is Cindy Sheehan, the nutjob who’s husband finally had enough of her anti-war lunacy and divorced her?

Oh here is the useful idiot getting all huggy with famous America hater Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez.

Mr. Obama is playing a clever game with these nitwits and it will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to figure it out. He comes into office and immediately starts signing executive orders (more than any U.S. president in their first three days in office) attempting to make it right with these loons all the while he is just playing everybody like a fiddle. Signing orders to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay within a year. Pulling out of Iraq within 16 months. (Both timeframes give him lots of leeway to change the game plan while the dimbulbs forget what it was they were all riled up about in the first place.) Supposedly signing new rules for interrogations when in fact all he did was a slight overwrite of what Bush already had in place!

I have a feeling as the war in Afghanistan begins to take center stage and reports of American lives lost start coming in the media will shift gears in it’s “reporting” and rarely if ever include Obama’s name into their stories.

Against a background of widespread protests in Pakistan and Afghanistan over US operations since Obama became president, the vice-president, Joe Biden, said yesterday that US forces would be engaged in many more operations as it takes the fight to its enemies in the region.

The Obama administration is to double the number of US troops in Afghanistan to 60,000 and when asked in a television interview if the US public should expect more American casualties, Biden said: “I hate to say it, but yes, I think there will be. There will be an uptick.”

My question to the CodePink and Cindy Sheehan people is simply this. How long before you march in front of the White House throwing shoes in protest of Obama? When will Sheehan pitch a tent down the street from Obama’s house and demand answers about the war in Afghanistan and again “carry the world on her shoulders.”

Or maybe we should we just call these protest groups what they really are, George Soros funded anti-American zealots who’s only goal was to ensure Barack Hussein Obama was installed into presidency so the destruction of this country can be finally be initiated from the inside out.

CodePink was founded in November 2002 by four radicals: Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin, Diane Wilson, and a radical Wiccan activist calling herself Starhawk. Ms. Evans is the nominal leader of the organization, which works closely with Medea Benjamin’s group Global Exchange and Leslie Cagan’s antiwar coalition United For Peace and Justice.

In conjunction with Global Exchange and United For Peace and Justice, CodePink helped establish Iraq Occupation Watch to monitor potential American abuses — including “possible violations of human rights, freedom of speech, and freedom of assembly” — during the reconstruction of Iraq. CodePink’s and IOW’s stated objective is to thin US forces in Iraq by causing soldiers to seek discharges and be sent home as conscientious objectors.

In December 2004 CodePink, Global Exchange, and Families for Peace raised and delivered $600,000 in medical supplies and cash to the “insurgents” who were fighting American troops in Fallujah, Iraq.

Since 2005 CodePink has staged weekly protests outside of Walter Reed Army Medical Center where its members harass US soldiers wounded in combat in the Middle East.

As part of a national coalition led by the Ruckus Society, CodePink runs an aggressive Counter-Recruitment campaign aimed at dissuading young men and women from joining the US military.

CodePink has run anti-American advertisements in Iraqi newspapers. They have also traveled to the Middle East to meet with foreign leaders, including members of the Iraqi Parliament — in direct violation of the Logan Act.

CodePink is currently seeking funds to send a CodePink “delegation” to Iran where they say they will meet with Iranian government officials. “This citizen diplomats delegation, led by CODEPINK cofounder Medea Benjamin and Colonel/Diplomat Ann Wright, will return to pressure Congress, educate the public and speak to the media about Iranian and American perspectives for preventing another disastrous war.”

CodePink not only lobbies Congress on a near daily basis, they even “occupy” Congressional offices. It is against the law for 501c3s to lobby Congress.

Hopefully many can now see just how many enemies we have living right here in this country, performing despicable acts while hiding behind the Constitution. In the meantime brave soldiers all over the world are dying to protect the rights and freedoms of these scumbags.

I will be watching to see if these clowns stick to their so called convictions and challenge Obama to live up to his campaign rhetoric…or are exposed for the frauds they really are.

I am concerned for the security of our great nation, not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.”
