Seventh grader called racist for wearing Palin shirt.

Unbelievable. Twelve year old Ashleigh Jones, a seventh grader at New Smyrna Beach Middle School in Volusia County, Fl. gets ripped and called a racist by her fellow classmates for simply wearing a Sarah Palin tee shirt to school.

“Some of the students were calling me racist because I was Caucasian,” she said. “I wanted the Caucasian man to win. And I told them that’s not true. It’s my freedom of speech, it’s my opinion.”

At a time when young ladies should be thrilled to see a women running for vice president of this country this girl is getting slapped around by her well indoctrinated classmates for simply showing support for her choice in the upcoming election. Now I wonder where these little kids are getting their ideas to call someone a racist for not toeing the line and falling in behind the big Obama charade? The teaching staff? Mommy and daddy? Both?

Let’s be honest if this was a story about some kid getting hassled for wearing an Obama shirt it would be picked up and run ad nauseam on ever single media outlet as an example of just how intolerant our entire society is and how terrible and sad it is that some poor child had to suffer through the ordeal. Since this involves Palin and the Republican ticket we’ll hear nothing more about it.
